In trading, Cable and Wireless fell 15 cent4 with 2,728,949 units changing hands to close at $1.15, Caribbean Cement fell 11 cents to end at $18.09 with 797,423 shares changing hands, Carreras closing at $60.75, with 4,700 units changing hands. Ciboney lost 3 cents to close at 20 cents with 270,000 shares, Gleaner closed with 964,454 units changing hands at $1.30, Grace Kennedy rose $4, with 4,066 units changing hands, to finish at a new 52 weeks’ high of $85, but the stock was offered at the end of trading at $84. Jamaica Broilers fell by 30 cents to close at $10.20 with 219,382 shares changing hands, Jamaica Producers traded 47,400 shares to end at $32, the Jamaica Stock Exchange did not trade but closed with the bid at $18.34 compared with Tuesday’s close of $16, offers declined to only two lots of 22,000 shares. 
JMMB Group traded 7,965 ordinary shares, but fell 39 cents to end at $10.11, Mayberry Investments had 68,466 shares trading at $4.20 for a gain of 10 cents, National Commercial Bank rose 69 cents to end at $39.70, with 55,480 units changing hands, Sagicor Group closed with 45,707 units changing hands with a gain of 30 cents at $17.50. Sagicor Real Estate Fund lost 2 cents in trading 5,000 shares at $10.20. Scotia Group declined by $1.39 with 1,470 shares changing hands at $28.61, Supreme Ventures ended at $4.60 with 66,460 units changing hands and JMMB87.5% preference share traded 35,700 units but fell 10 cents to close at $2.80.

Mayberry Investments had 17,928 shares trading at $4.10 for a loss of 25 cents, Montego Bay Ice fell $2.60 in closing at $14.90 with 1,250 shares trading, National Commercial Bank ended at $39.01, with 3,136,195 units changing hands, 138 Student Living had another large trade, with 1,754,230 units at $4.50 following big trades on Friday and Monday.
Pan Jamaican Investments traded 24,662 and gained 50 cents to end at $93, Radio Jamaica traded 16,000 units at $3, Sagicor Group closed with 757,157 units changing hands with a loss of 30 cents to $17.20, Sagicor Real Estate Fund gained 22 cents in trading 10,000 shares at $10.22. Scotia Group declined 98 cents with 654,660 shares changing hands at $30, Scotia Investments jumped $2.05 with 5,000 shares changing hands at $31, Supreme Ventures ended at $4.60 with 45,200 units changing hands. Proven Investments ordinary share had 811,000 units trading at 19.5 US cents, for a loss of 2.5 cents and JMMB7.5% Preference share traded 42,350 units and gained 9 cents to close at $1.99.

138 Student Living had another day of with a large trade of 8,520,000 units at $4.50, valued at $38.34 million, much less than the 58,949,590 units valued at $265,273,155 traded on Friday.
At the close the JSE Market Index fell 38.30 points to 146,585.49, the all Jamaica Composite Index eased 42.80 points to end at 162,773.85 and the JSE combined index added 156.87 points to close at 153,500.13. at $4.35, for a loss of 35 cents, National Commercial Bank rose just 1 cent and ended at $39.01, with 29,432 units changing hands, Radio Jamaica traded 1,000 units early in the day at $2.25 and ended the day at $3 while 11,400 units changed hands. Sagicor Group closed with 61,827 units changing hands at $17.50, Salada Foods lost 51 cents in trading 51,562 shares at $8.50, Scotia Group declined by 1 cent with 8,741 shares changing hands at $30.98, Supreme Ventures rose 60 cents to end at $4.60, with 7,128 units changing hands and Proven Investments had 16,130 shares trading at 22 US cents, for a loss of 0.99 cents.
JSE gains over 1,000 points on Monday
The JSE stock traded at a new 52 weeks’ high of $19 on Monday and gained over 1,100% for 2015
The JSE Market Index climbed 1,000.11 points to 143,358.95, the all Jamaica Composite Index rose 1,117.69 points to end at 159,168.01 and the JSE combined index recovered 1,122.82 points to close at 149,895.32. Notwithstanding today’s gains, the main market faces the next test at 165,000 points level, on the all Jamaica composite index.

Gleaner traded 30,760 units at $1.40, Grace Kennedy ended with 91,743 units changing hands, to finish with a fall of $1.50 at $76.50, Jamaica Broilers jumped $1.49 in trading 146,083 shares, to close at a 52 weeks’ high of $9.99.
Jamaica Producers lost $2 in trading 16,022 units at $28, Jamaica Stock Exchange shares traded 12,050 units at $18.99 for a new closing 52 weeks’ high, with 1,110 percent gain since the start of the year. National Commercial Bank rose 5 cents and ended at $38.05 with just 4,637 units changing hands, Pulse Investments traded 39,414 shares with a rise of 4 cents to close at $2.30, Radio Jamaica lost 26 cents and landed at $3.80 with 2,342 shares trading, Sagicor Group with 51,550 units changing hands ended at $17 after rising 46 cents. Scotia Group lost 50 cents with 27,248 shares changing hands and ended at $28.50, Scotia Investments climbed $3 with 20,242 units trading and closed at $30 and Supreme Ventures fell 20 cents and ended at $4.65 with 83,530 units changing hands.

Derrimon Trading rose 30 cents with a mere 588 units changing hands at a 52 weeks’ high of $3.50, Dolphin Cove traded 145 units at $13.70 while losing 58 cents, General Accident Insurance traded 251,641 units at $1.90 for a 2 cents decline.
Honey Bun with 73,727 shares changing hands, closed higher by 20 cents to a 52 a weeks’ high of $5.50, KLE Group gained 8 cents and ended with 14,920 units trading at 82 cents, Lasco Distributors closed with 5,350 shares changing hands to end at $4.38. Lasco Financial ended with a decline of 10 cents to $3.40, with a total of 400,852 shares changing hands, Lasco Manufacturing closed at $3.75 with 65,070 shares trading with a loss of 20 cents and Paramount Trading ended with 3,102 shares changing hands and gained of $1.79 to $9, for a new 52 weeks’ high.
Christmas treat for Carreras owners
Shareholders of Carreras are in for a nice Christmas treat with a big distribution in December. The company announced the payment of an interim dividend of $1.40 per share payable on December 10, for shareholders on record as at November 27, 2015 and a special capital cash distribution of $1.94 per share payable on December 17, to shareholders on record as at November 27, 2015.
The ex-dividend date for both payments is November 25, 2015. The payment in December will bring the amounts paid in 2015 to $8.74, with a dividend yield of 24 percent, based on the stock price at the start of the year. In addition, the stock has gained 54 percent so far this year, for a total return of 78 percent. Going forward investors can expect to receive around $6 per share as most of if not all of the capital distributions are over for now with the full amount that funded capital distributions were due from the government and the amount is now fully collected.
Prior to these proposed payments, dividends were paid in September, amounting to $1.20 per share along with and interim special capital cash distribution of $0.60 per share. An interim dividend of $2 per share was pay on June 25 and an interim dividend of $1.60 per share was paid on March 12.
Interim results to September, show revenues and profit rising in the quarter, with revenues climbing to 15 percent for the quarter to $3.06 billion and 8 percent for the half year to $5.68 billion. Profit rose 24 percent for the quarter to $762 million and 19 percent for the half year to $1.39 billion. Earnings per share amounts to $1.57 for the quarter and $2.85 for the half year. The company is on it way to just about exceed $6 per share for the fiscal year.
The stock is listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange and last traded at $56.
All Jamaica index breaks 150,000 mark
The Jamaica stock market is off to a flying start on Tuesday morning with the All Jamaican Composite index jumping 1,334.74 points to cross over the 150,000 point level for the first time and sits at 151,265.98 the JSE Market Index gained 1,194.34 points to 136,288.15 the JSE combined 
index climbed 1,329.92 points to be at 142,847.27 and the junior market index rose 22.65 points to its highest level of 1,586.96.
The number of securities trading climbed sharply to 34 securities changing hands with a volume of 9,183,062 units as 19 stocks gained and 3 declined after 90 minutes of trading.
Notable trades took place in Cable and Wireless, the stock traded 6,553,797 units up to $1.40 but last traded at $1.35, Carreras ended with 768,164 units trading at $55.18, Lasco Distributors has traded 367,050 units currently at $4.07, Lasco Financial Services traded at a new record high of $3.40 with 219,943 units but now trades at $3.20, Lasco Manufacturing has so far traded 100,000 shares at $3.95, Proven Investments traded 434,000 shares at 22.97 US cents.
