The decline of the Trinidad & Tobago market indices continued apace on Wednesday as declining stocks edged out advancing ones leaving the T&T Composite Index with a loss of 8.83 points to close at 1,363.75, the All T&T Index dropped 12.88 points to end at 1,761.39 and the Cross Listed Index slipped 0.64 points to 130.83.
The market closed with three stocks closing at 52 weeks’ low after four stocks recorded gains, seven declined, while four remained unchanged. The total volume of shares passing through the market climbed to 1,141,627 units valued at $5,923,432 compared to 656,107 shares for $10,311,421 on Tuesday.
IC bid-offer Indicator│The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of three stocks higher than their last selling prices and five with lower offers.
Gainers│ Clico Investments added 50 cents transferring 33,862 shares to end at $22, Guardian Holdings picked up 90 cents to close at $17.90, in trading 12,165 units, JMMB Group added 5 cents to end at $2 exchanging 926,457 shares and Republic Financial Holdings gained $5.72 to close at $141.72, with 15,370 stock units changing hands.
Losers│ Angostura Holdings lost 50 cents and slipped to a 52 weeks’ low of $14.50, in trading a mere five stock units, First Citizens Bank closed at $39, after falling $2.75 and exchanging 3,037 units. First Caribbean International Bank shed 15 cents to end at a 52 weeks’ low of $7.70 with 50 stock units crossing the market, 
Massy Holdings declined by 50 cents to close at $56.50, with 518 stock units changing hands, Scotiabank ended at $57 exchanging 754 units, after losing $1. Trinidad & Tobago NGL shed 24 cents to close at $17.01, with 2,750 stock units crossing the market and West Indian Tobacco lost 24 cents to end at $34.75, trading 139 units.
Firm Trades│ Ansa Merchant Bank traded 51 stock units at $36.30, National Enterprises exchanged 144,795 shares at $5, One Caribbean Media transferred 674 stock units at $7 and Trinidad Cement swapped 1,000 shares at $1.75.

Massy Holdings declined by $1 to close at $57, with 199 stock units changing hands, Point Lisas lost 25 cents in trading 2,500 stock units to finish at $3.45. Republic Financial Holdings dropped $8, after transferring 12,000 units to finish at $136, Trinidad Cement ended at $1.75, after falling 20 cents exchanging 2,464 stock units and West Indian Tobacco lost 1 cent to close at $34.99, with 75,200 stock units crossing the market.
At the close, NCB Financial is set to suffer a significant fall, with the stock closing with the offer to sell 133,050 units at $9 compared to the last sale price of $10 or nearly JS$200. There were no bids placed to buy the stock at the close.
JMMB Group closed at $1.90, after falling 10 cents in exchanging 160,383 units, Massy Holdings shed $1 to end at $58, with 2,330 stock units changing hands, National Enterprise lost 25 cents trading 500 stock units to finish at a 52 weeks’ low of $5. National Flour slipped to a 52 weeks’ low of a $1.20, after falling 2 cents and transferring 1,950 units, One Caribbean Media traded 300 stock units at a 52 weeks’ low of $7, with a decline of 15 cents. Prestige Holdings declined by 50 cents to end at $8, transferring 2,941 units. Scotiabank fell by $1.50 to end at $58 trading 11,246 stock units and West Indian Tobacco declined by $1.50 to close at $35, with 29,510 stock units crossing the market.
Republic Financial declined by $1.43 to $144 with a transfer of 10,596 units and West Indian Tobacco fell by 25 cents to end at $36.50 trading 165 stock units.
The market closed on Thursday with 15 securities trading resulting in the price of one stock rising and nine stocks declining, while five remained unchanged, leading a decline of 12.43 points in the T&T Composite Index to 1,429.46. The All T&T Index fell 21.44 points to end at 1,842.17, while the Cross Listed Index slipped 0.45 points at 137.70. Today’s decline marks the seven consecutive days of falling values for all three market indices and pushed the market into a year to date loss.
National Enterprises shed 15 cents in trading 550 stock units to finish at a 52 weeks’ low of $5.25. Scotiabank dropped $1.75 to $59.50, after transferring 18,368 shares, Trinidad & Tobago NGL lost 50 cents to end at a 52 weeks’ low of $15, with 28,661 shares crossing the market and West Indian Tobacco shed 20 cents exchanging 2,000 stock units to close at $36.75.
The T&T Composite Index declined by 18.88 points to 1,441.89. The All T&T Index fell 19.27 points to end at 1,863.61, while the Cross Listed Index closed with a decline of 2.52 points at 138.15.
NCB Financial lost 35 cents and closed at $10.65, with 91 units crossing the market, Prestige Holdings lost 30 cents exchanging 2,000 units to end at $8.20, Scotiabank dropped $1.20 to $61.25, in exchanging 2,182 stock units. Trinidad & Tobago NGL fell 69 cents trading 37,584 shares and closed at a 52 weeks’ low of $15.50, West Indian Tobacco lost 5 cents exchanging 85 units to end at $36.95 and Unilever Caribbean fell 10 cents to a 52 weeks’ low of $19, with 7,628 units crossing the market.
Four stocks closed at 52 weeks’ low as the market encountered five consecutive days of losses at the close market sentiments and closed with negative with stocks closing with a four to one bias towards declines as shown by the IC bid-offer Indicator. 
JMMB Group shed 8 cents exchanging 170,055 shares to close at $2.02, Massy Holdings declined by $1 to $59 in transferring 15,490 units and National Enterprises traded 27,269 stock units after falling 15 cents to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $5.40. National Flour closed at $1.30 in exchanging 111,161 units and lost 15 cents, One Caribbean Media lost 10 cents to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $7.15, with 200 units crossing the market, Point Lisas shed 30 cents exchanging 200 units to end at $3.45. Prestige Holdings declined by 50 cents to $8.50 trading 3,585 shares, Republic Financial Holdings lost 4 cents and closed at $145.43, transferring 18,703 units and Scotiabank fell 7 cents to $62.45, in exchanging 150 stock units. Trinidad & Tobago NGL shed 31 cents trading 16,736 shares and closed at a 52 weeks’ low of $16.19 and Unilever Caribbean dropped to a 52 weeks’ low of $19.10, after falling $1.40 with 3,300 units crossing the market.
The market closed with just two stocks rising, eight declining while four remained unchanged, which similar to trading on from last Wednesday when no more than two securities gained. The T&T Composite Index declined by 13.49 points to 1,470.53. The All T&T Index fell 10.70 points to end at 1,888.19, while the Cross Listed Index closed with a decline of 2.22 points at 142.61.
National Enterprises traded 3,000 stock units and slipped 5 cents to close at $5.55, National Flour closed at $1.45 in exchange of 288 units and lost 2 cents. NCB Financial shed 35 cents trading 58,043 shares to end at $11, Republic Financial Holdings lost 3 cents and closed at $145.47, transferring 21,224 units and West Indian Tobacco fell $1 to $37, with 3,201 shares changing hands.
Massy Holdings fell $1.35 to $61.60 in transferring 50,437 shares and Trinidad & Tobago NGL traded 20,993 stock units and shed 50 cents to end at a 52 weeks’ low of $16.50.
Trinidad & Tobago NGL exchanged 7,950 stock units and dropped $1.50 to end at the lowest price of $17 since the stock was listed, in 2015.
