First Citizens Bank closed at a 52 weeks’ high on TTSE on Friday.

Trading closed on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange on Friday with rising stocks just edging out declining ones and leading to modest gains in the market indices.
The market closed with 16 securities trading, with six gaining, five declining as the prices of five closed unchanged after First Citizens Bank ended at a new 52 weeks’ high.
The T&T Composite Index rose 1.22 points to end at 1,480.36. The All T&T Index gained 2.02 points to 1,883.15, while the Cross Listed Index inched 0.05 points to close at 145.97.
Trading resulted in an exchange of 237,058 shares, valued at $5,808,030, compared to 223,638 shares, valued at $5,221,135, from 17 securities on Thursday.
IC bid-offer Indicator| The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of five stocks higher than their last selling prices and two with lower offers.
Gains| Clico Investments rose 10 cents and ended at $28.10, with an exchange of 11,640 units, Angostura Holdings added 4 cents and ended at $16.20, in swapping 6,210 shares, First Citizens Bank increased 5 cents and settled at a 52 weeks’ high of $45.20, trading 1,600 stock units. Guardian Holdings added 10 cents and ended at $21.60, with 8 stock units changing hands, JMMB Group closed with an increase of 1 cent to close at $2.66, with 1,056 units crossing the exchange and Trinidad & Tobago NGL closed trading of 5,804 shares and rose 45 cents to close at $23.45.

Losses| Ansa McAl shares fell 5 cents and completed trading of 23,629 shares at $55.25, National Flour closed with a loss of 5 cents and closed at $1.35, with 100,000 units exchanging hands, Scotiabank ended with a loss of 1 cent at $61, with 51,286 units crossing the exchange. West Indian Tobacco shed 20 cents and completed trading 2,481 units at $41 and Unilever Caribbean dropped 10 cents and settled at a 52 weeks’ low of $22.15 in swapping 2,742 shares.
Firm Trades| Agostini’s traded just 5 units at $25, Massy Holdings completed trading at $62, with 20 units, National Enterprises settled at $5.50, with 20 units changing hands, NCB Financial ended trading of 29,757 shares at $11 and Republic Financial closed at $135.75, with investors exchanging 800 units.

Republic Bank closed at a 52 weeks’ high on Thursday.

Trading closed on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange on Thursday, rising stocks outpacing declining ones by a significant margin.
The market closed with 17 securities trading, with seven stocks gaining, two declining while eight closed unchanged, after Republic Financial Holding ended at a new 52 weeks’ high.
The T&T Composite Index inched 0.01 points higher to 1,479.14. The All T&T Index rose just 0.53 points to 1,881.13, while the Cross Listed Index declined 0.07 points to close at 145.92.
Trading resulted in an exchange of 223,638 shares, valued at $5,221,135, compared to 130,180 shares, with a value of $4,139,922, from 16 securities on Wednesday.
IC bid-offer Indicator| The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of five stocks higher than their last selling prices and one with a lower offer.
Gains| Clico Investments gained 11 cents and ended at $28, after exchanging 34,949 shares, Angostura Holdings gained 1 cent to close at $16.16, with 4,400 stock units changing hands, First Citizens Bank increased by 5 cents and settled at $45.15, trading 2,200 stock units. Massy Holdings climbed 40 cents and ended at $62, after exchanging 504 shares, National Flour rose 4 cents and closed at $1.40, after trading a mere eight unit. Republic Financial rose 25 cents end at a 52 weeks’ high of $135.75, after swapping of 100 shares and West Indian Tobacco added 1 cent and completed trading of 8,468 shares at $41.20.
Losses| JMMB Group fell 5 cents and ended at $2.65, with investors exchanging 22,500 shares and Trinidad & Tobago NGL closed trading of 10,184 shares but fell 61 cents to close at $23.

Trading volume and value declined on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange on Wednesday compared to Tuesday’s levels and resulted in declines in the indices.
The market closed with 16 securities trading of which three stocks gained, four declined while nine closed unchanged after Massy Holding ended at a 52 weeks’ high.
The T&T Composite Index lost 8.60 points to close at 1,479.13. The All T&T Index sank 17.09 points to 1,880.60, while the Cross Listed Index remained unchanged points to close at 145.99.
Trading resulted in an exchange of 130,180 shares, with a value of $4,139,922, compared to 471,647 units, valued at $6,460,607, from 20 securities on Tuesday.

Trading volume and value rose on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange on Tuesday with an increase in the number of active securities over Monday levels resulting in declines in the indices.
The market closed with 20 securities trading, of which four stocks rose in price; seven declined while nine closed unchanged after Republic Financial Holdings ended at a 52 weeks’ high and CinemaOne and Unilever Caribbean closed at 52 weeks’ lows.
The Composite Index lost 2.35 points on Tuesday to 1,487.73. The All T&T Index declined 2.16 points to 1,897.69, while the Cross Listed Index eased 0.34 points to close at 145.99.
Trading resulted in an exchange of 471,647 units, with a value of $6,460,607, compared to 181,718, with valued at $1,600,095, from 14 securities on Monday.

The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange bounced sharply at the close of trading on Wednesday as three stocks recorded significant upward price movements to continue its mild bullish trend since late 2019.
Trading ended, with four stocks rising, four declining while 13 closed unchanged, with two stocks ending at 52 weeks’ high. The Composite Index jumped 15.06 points to 1,489.98. The All T&T Index surged 25.40 points to 1,898.11, while the Cross Listed Index rose 0.62 points to close at 146.54.

The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange bounced at the close trading on Tuesday to continue its mild bullish trend since late 2019 but with an equal number of rising and declining stocks.

Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange Head Quarters

The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange had the first decline since trading resumed in 2020 but with an equal number of stock prices rising and falling.
Trading ended, with two stocks rising, two declining while elven closed with prices unchanged, leading the Composite Index slipping 0.65 points to 1,471.40. The All T&T Index shed 1.29 points to 1,870.53, while the Cross Listed Index remained unchanged at 145.26.
Trading ended with just 15 securities changing hands with 127,724 shares changing hands at $881,569 compared to 368,007 units at $5,109,209 from 16 securities changing hands on Friday.
IC bid-offer Indicator| The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of three stocks higher than their last selling prices and three with lower offers.
Gains| National Flour gained 1 cent and settled at $1.36, with 150 stock units trading and Republic Financial rose 99 cents to end at a 52 weeks’ high of $132 with 765 units changing hands.
Losses| First Citizens shed 50 cents to end at $44.50, with investors exchanging 1,220 shares and West Indian Tobacco dropped 2 cents with 3,295 units crossing the exchange at $41.22.
Firm Trades| Angostini’s concluded trading with 2,020 units at $26, Angostura Holdings closed at $16.20, with 20 units crossing the exchange, Ansa McAl settled at $55.20, after exchanging 240 shares, Endeavour Holdings traded 40 shares at $12.50. First Caribbean International Bank settled at $8, with the trading of 3,270 units, Guardian Holdings completed trading of 1,580 shares at $22, Guardian Media closed at $7.50, with investors exchanging 10,000 units. NCB Financial ended at $10.86, with an exchange of 5,000 units, Scotiabank closed at $61, with investors exchanging 1,713 shares, Trinidad & Tobago NGL closed trading of 1,614 shares at $23.75 and Trinidad Cement settled at $2, with 96,837 stock units changing hands.
