The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange closed higher on Monday with an equal number of stocks rising and falling indices. At the close, the T&T Composite Index climbed 11.49 points to close at 1,514.59. The All T&T Index jumped 23.22 points to 1,934.25, while the Cross Listed Index closed with a loss of 0.05 points to end at 148.32.

The market ended with 19 securities changing hands with three exchanging just one unit and leading to the prices of six gaining, six declining and the prices of seven remaining unchanged. Monday’s trades compare with 14 trading on Friday.
Trading resulted in an exchange of 370,249 shares for $3,025,869, compared to 159,258 shares for $3,092,226 on Friday.
IC bid-offer Indicator| The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of four stocks higher than their last selling prices and one with a lower offer.
Gains| Agostini’s rose 6 cents in trading 31 shares to end at a 52 weeks’ high of $25.51, Guardian Holdings had 725 units crossing the exchange, with a rise of one cent, to close at $22.01, Massy Holdings exchanged 500 shares and added 5 cents to finish at $62.10. National Enterprises added one cent to end at $5.51 after swapping 2,001 stock units, Republic Holdings gained 26 cents and closed trading with 1,011 shares at a 52 weeks’ high of $143.26 and West Indian Tobacco rose $1 and closed at $39.50 while trading 321 stock units.
Losses| Ansa McAl lost $1.50 in closing at $55.50 with just one units trading, First Citizens Bank exchanged 24,606 stock units and dropped $3 to settle at $50 after trading as high as $53. One Caribbean Media exchanged 100 shares and lost 10 cents to end at $7.90, Trinidad & Tobago NGL slipped 1 cent, transferring 17,706 shares to close at $20.89.
Trinidad Cement lost 7 cents to close at $1.85 after exchanging just one stock units and Unilever Caribbean lost 50 cents in trading 100 units to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $21.
Firm Trades|, Clico Investment closed at $28.46, with 4,032 units crossing the exchange, First Caribbean International Bank exchanged 2,513 units at $7.89, Grace Kennedy traded 137,000 shares at $3.95, JMMB Group ended at $2.70, with investors trading 179,400 stock units. National Flour exchanged a mere one stock unit and closed at $1.49, Prestige Holdings closed with 100 units changing hands at $8.99 and LJ Williams B share traded 100 units at $1.60.

Losses| Clico Investment lost 2 cents to close at $28.46, with 72,954 units crossing the exchange and Trinidad & Tobago NGL slipped 1 cent transferring 3,980 shares to close at $20.89.
Trading resulted in an exchange of 187,825 shares for $4,035,174, compared to 593,235 shares for $10,578,281 on Wednesday.
NCB Financial shed 5 cents and closed with 4,278 units crossing the exchange at $11.25, Trinidad & Tobago NGL lost 10 cents in transferred 31,746 shares to close at $20.90 and West Indian Tobacco fell 10 cents to close at $38.50 while trading 5,403 stock units.

Grace Kennedy had 122 shares changing hands, to close at $3.95, National Enterprises closed trading with 100 shares at $5.50. National Enterprises swapped 100 units at $5.50, National Flour closed with 43,837 units crossing the exchange at $1.49, Point Lisas traded 194,174 shares to land at $3.75, Trinidad & Tobago NGL transferred 31,746 shares to close at $21. LJ Williams B share traded 6,144 units at $1.60 and Unilever Caribbean exchanged 1,686 shares and closed at $21.50 after hitting a 52 weeks intraday low of $21.10.
The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange closed down at the end of trading on Tuesday with the 16 securities changing hands up from 15 on Monday from lower volume and value.
Republic Financial, with the loss of 8 cents to close at 54 weeks’ high of $142.08, after exchanging 1,386 shares and Trinidad & Tobago NGL, traded 60,015 shares and added one cent to close at $21.
First Citzens’ stock closed with the bid at $51.50 to buy 3,430 shares but ended trading with no offers on the board at the close.
Trinidad & Tobago NGL traded 36,818 shares and gained 7 cents to close at $20.47, Trinidad Cement exchanged 3,227 shares and rose 5 cents to close at $1.90. LJ Williams B share rose 5 cents and ended at $1.60, with investors swapped just 83 shares and West Indian Tobacco rose $2 and settled at $40, with 3,461 units changing hands.
Republic Holdings traded at $142 but closed with the bid at $145 and offered at $150 the PE ratio is just 12 based on 2020 forecasted earnings with 20 being the target. Both stocks appear to have low supply around current prices.
Losses| JMMB Group shed 4 cents and ended at $2.70, with investors exchanging 365,844 stock units, One Caribbean Media fell 5 cents in transferring 612 shares at $7.95, Scotiabank ended trading with 10 units after slipping 9 cents to $61.40. Trinidad & Tobago NGL had 12,474 shares changing hands to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $20.40 after falling by 30 cents and West Indian Tobacco dropped $2 and settled at $38, with just 35 units changing hands.
One Caribbean Media added 5 cents in transferring 1,000 shares at $8 and Scotiabank ended trading with 18,091 units after rising 27 cents to $61.49.
Ansa Merchant Bank dropped $1.95 to close at $36.05 with an exchange of 38 stock units, One Caribbean Media lost 5 cents in transferred 645 shares in closing at a 52 weeks’ low of $7.95. Scotiabank ended trading with 161 units after falling 7 cents to $61.22, Trinidad Cement fell 6 cents in exchanging 2,900 shares at a 52 weeks’ low of $1.89. Trinidad & Tobago NGL lost 8 cents in trading 4,898 shares to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $20.70 and Unilever Caribbean fell 4 cents and ended at a 52 weeks’ low of $22.01, with investors exchanging 3,004 shares.
