Another gallant run was the order of the day on Wednesday ended with the market pushing 3,627 points higher to 442,228.59 after nearly 90 minutes of trading rising after more stocks advanced than declined, with an exchange of 56 percent fewer shares, valued 47 percent less than on Tuesday on the Jamaica Stock Exchange Main Market as the market continues to break away from the triangular formation that constrained for some time.
The market continues to get support for the upward rise, from three technical indicators, with one of the most powerful that suggests big gains from the channel that it has been trading in for months. It has broken out of the range and is heading for a new one.
The All Jamaican Composite Index climbed 3,224.25 points to 441,825.55, the Main Index advanced 2,908.51 points to 402,466.56 and the JSE Financial Index added 0.62 points to end at 100.16.
Overall, 46 securities traded, down from 49 on Tuesday and with prices of 15 stocks rising, 14 declining and 17 remaining unchanged. The PE Ratio, based on ICInsider.com’s forecast of 2021-22 earnings, averages 16.
At the close, 7,818,411 shares trading for $43,587,684 compared to 17,602,037 units at $81,904,936 on Tuesday. 
Transjamaican Highway led trading with 26.2 percent for 2.05 million shares, followed by Wigton Windfarm with 24.1 percent for 1.88 million units and Sagicor Select Financial Fund with 16 percent for 1.25 million units.
Trading averaged 169,965 units at $947,558, compared to 359,225 shares at $1,671,529 on Tuesday. Month to date trading averages 238,879 units at $1,499,367, in contrast to 244,460 units at $1,544,056 on Tuesday. March averaged 354,304 units at $2,543,232.
Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator shows ten stocks ending with bids higher than their last selling prices and two with lower offers.
The market closed with Mayberry Investments hitting an intraday 52 weeks’ low of $4.96 during trading, Stanley Motta traded at an intraday 52 weeks’ high of $6.40 and Seprod traded at an intraday 52 weeks’ high of $85.
At the close, Jamaica Stock Exchange gained 34 cents in closing at $17.60 with an exchange of 48,031 units, Kingston Wharves rose 78 cents to end at $43.79 after the transfer of 450 shares, Mayberry Investments slipped 25 cents in closing at $5.15 in the swapping of 31,520 stocks. Palace Amusement dropped $40 to finish at $850 with 291 shares clearing the market, PanJam Investment ended $1.95 higher at $63 with 24,598 stock units changing hands.
Proven Investments lost 39 cents to settle at $37.11 in the trading of 18,182 stocks, Salada Foods rose 65 cents to end at $5.95 with the swapping of 65,978 shares, Scotia Group shed 37 cents ending at $41.62 in transferring 8,910 stock units and Supreme Ventures rose 29 cents to close at $16.14 after 41,765 units crossed the market.
In the preference segment, Eppley 8.25% advanced 13 cents to close at $6.25 with an exchange of 866 shares.

The JSE USD Equity Index gained 2.92 points to end at 209.85 to be up 12.6 percent for the year to date.
At the close, First Rock Capital gained 0.1 of a cent in closing at 9 US cents trading 139,414 shares, Proven Investments rose 0.1 of a cent to 24.6 US cents in exchanging 26,191 units, Sygnus Credit Investments closed at 15 US cents with 100 shares changing hands and Transjamaican Highway remained at 0.9 of a US cent with 698,683 stocks crossing the exchange.
Trading averaged 262,826 units at $1,007,522 and on Monday 66,662 at $226,935. The month to date averaged 201,838 units at $661,964, compared to 196,052 units at $629,180 on Monday. March closed with an average of 252,633 units at $733,196.
Knutsford Express jumped $1.40 to $8.30 with an exchange of 92 units, Lasco Distributors lost 24 cents to end at $3.75 with 34,324 shares changing hands. Main Event climbed 22 cents to close at $4.92 with 250 stocks traded, Medical Disposables advanced 15 cents to $4.65 with 12,010 units transferred, Paramount Trading gained 11 cents to settle at $1.41 with investors switching ownership of 41,276 stocks. Stationery and Office Supplies dropped 26 cents to $4.54 with 136,528 units changing hands and tTech fell 19 cents to close at $4.41 with 500 shares crossing the exchange.
Trading averaged 359,225 units at $1,671,530, compared to 147,962 shares at $1,483,871 on Monday. Month to date trading averages 244,460 units at $1,544,056 in contrast to 232,625 units at $1,532,021 on Monday. March averaged 354,304 units at $2,543,232.
Sagicor Group fell 49 cents to $50 with 16,629 shares changing hands, Scotia Group gained 34 cents to end at $41.99 in the transfer of 37,458 stock units, Seprod advanced $1.08 to close at a 52 weeks’ high of $84 with the swapping of 127,859 shares, Stanley Motta rose 61 cents to finish at $5.91 after an exchange of 25,420 stock units. Supreme Ventures advanced $1.75 to $15.85, trading 104,384 shares and Sygnus Credit Investments gained 50 cents in ending at $15 with an exchange of 74,006 stock units.

At the close, First Rock Capital closed at 8.9 US cents trading 6,590 shares, Proven Investments shed 1.49 cents to close at 24.5 US cents after 271,008 stocks crossed the market, Sterling Investments fell 0.04 of a cent to 2.01 US cents in trading 45,540 stock units. Sygnus Credit Investments gained 0.17 of a cent to close at 15 US cents trading 60,047 shares and Transjamaican Highway closed at 0.9 of a US cent in 108,080 shares crossing the market.
Trading ended with 16 securities changing hands compared to 14 on Monday, with the prices of two stocks rising, seven declining and seven remaining unchanged. The Composite Index declined 6.92 points to 1,341.98, the All T&T Index rose just 0.14 points to 1,795.94 and the Cross-Listed Index fell 2.03 points to settle at 119.99.

Unilever Caribbean lost 1 cent to close at $16.32 with an exchange of 5,942 units and West Indian Tobacco rose 1 cent to $32.92 in an exchange of 9,255 stocks.
The All Jamaican Composite Index increased 351.51 points to 436,947.49, the JSE Main Index carved out a gain of 316.37 points to close at 398,063.87 and the JSE Financial Index advanced 0.16 points to 99.60.
Transjamaican Highway led trading with 46.2 percent of total volume for 3.49 million shares, followed by Wigton Windfarm with 17.6 percent for 1.33 million units and Caribbean Cement with 6.8 percent for 513,466 units changing hands.
Sagicor Group gained 49 cents to close at $50.49 after exchanging 12,602 units, Seprod jumped $6.32 higher to a 52 weeks’ high of $82.92 with 8,914 stock units clearing the market. Supreme Ventures shed $1.90 in closing at $14.10 in the trading of 422,951 stocks and Victoria Mutual Investments gained 45 cents in ending at $5.78 with 58,944 units changing hands.
Volume and value of trades dropped 84 percent and 83 percent, respectively with more stocks rising than falling versus Friday, on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
Trading averaged 66,662 units at $226,935 in contrast to 468,107 at $1,520,701 on Friday. The average month to date is 196,052 units at $629,180, compared to 210,840 units at $675,151 on Friday. March closed with an average of 252,633 units at $733,196.
Honey Bun picked up 5 cents to finish at $5.09 with the trading of 55,600 shares, Indies Pharma closed 12 cents higher at $4.36 with an exchange of 71,313 units, Jamaican Teas gained 9 cents to end at $3.38 trading 541,001 units, Knutsford Express advanced 55 cents to $6.90 after a transfer of 43,806 shares Mailpac Group gained 9 cents in closing at $3.54 with 555,210 stock units changing hands and Medical Disposables rose 35 cents to $4.50 with the swapping of 5,560 units.

Guardian Holdings fell 9 cents to $25.90, with 100 shares crossing the market, Massy Holdings lost 10 cents to close at $63.90 after 500 units changed hands, National Flour settled at $2.25, with 100,000 stocks clearing the market. Prestige Holdings stayed at $7.50 while exchanging 2,812 shares, Republic Financial Holdings rose $1 to close at $134 after trading 14 shares, Scotiabank finished trading 2,767 shares at$54.65. Trinidad & Tobago NGL fell 23 cents to $14.50 after 4,440 shares crossed the exchange, Trinidad Cement shed 1 cent in ending at $2.99, with 150,000 stock units crossing the market, Unilever Caribbean closed at $16.33 in an exchange of 40 shares and West Indian Tobacco remained at $32.91, with 300 stock units changing hands.
