The average number of shares traded, amount to 26,142 units versus 95,844 units on Tuesday.
The leading volume trades in the market are, Barita Investments traded 53,759 shares at $5.20, Cable & Wireless had 197,375 units traded down to 70 cents, Jamaica Stock Exchange traded 77,587 units at $5.69, Radio Jamaica traded 70,856 units at $1.30 and JMMB Group 7.2% preference share traded at $1.08 with 112,697 units changing hands.
At 10:45 am the all Jamaica Composite Index rose 17.56 points to 193,066.37, the Jamaica Stock Exchange Market Index climbed 15.71 points to 173,677.46, the Jamaica Stock Exchange combined index gained 248.03 points to close at 186,033.87 and the junior market index rose 22.72 points to end at 2,430.40.
Subsequent to 10:45 AM Jamaica Producers Group traded 2,863,910 shares at $8.30.

The Jamaica Stock Exchange main market ended with three consecutive days with a record close helped a great deal by movements in the price of National Commercial Bank (NCB) that reached $53.
At the close of trading the All Jamaica Composite Index climbed 369.13 points to close at a new closing high of 193,048.81 with the year to date gains at 16 percent. The JSE Market Index rose 378.06 points to finish at 173,661.75, a new closing high and the JSE combined index gained 229.67 points to end at 185,785.84 with a gain for the year to date of 18 percent.
At the close with 7,367,774 units valued at $196,760,012 changed hands, compared to 748,476 units valued at $7,664,842 changing hands on Monday.The junior market accounted for 215,605 units trading valued at $946,789 of the stocks traded.
The average trade for the day in the main market ended at 376,430 and 230,425 units month to date. On Monday, an average of 35,184 units traded and for the month to date, 84,420 units, in comparison the average for the October was 220,811 units.

In US dollar trading, dealers bought US$41,399,410 compared to US$31,869,568 on Friday. The average rate for buying the British Pound dipped $1.09 to $156.04 for the purchase of £1,190,698 while £302,726 was sold with a fall of $1.06 to end at $158.37.
At the end of trading on Monday, dealers sold €271,014 with the selling rate for the Euro, closing with a rise of $2.25 to $139.76, according to data from Bank of Jamaica.
