Stocks mostly gained on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange on Monday for the third time since the start of July, after some stock prices closed with sizable gains to push the market indices up for the day.
First Citizens Bank added $2.50 to finish at $48, on TTSE on Monday.
The market closed with fifteen securities trading with the prices of eight rising, one declining and six ending unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 130,903 shares valued at $2,811,418 compared to 167,722 shares for $1,805,037 on Friday from 16 securities.
The T&T Composite Index climbed 7.70 points to 1,318.31, The All T&T Index advanced by 15.29 points to 1,780.01, while the Cross Listed Index closed unchanged at 115.74.
IC bid-offer Indicator│ The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of five stocks higher than its last selling price and three with lower offers.
Gainers│ First Citizens Bank added $2.50 to finish at $48, in trading 16,845 shares, Massy Holdings ended at $58, with gains of $1 after exchanging 15,721 shares, National Enterprises rose 25 cents in transferring 828 units to close at $4.75. Prestige Holdings gained 1 cent to end at $8.21, with an exchange of 1,000 units, Republic Financial Holdings picked up 1 cent to settle at $139.48, after 1,572 stock units crossing the market. 
Trinidad Cement carved out a gain of 25 cents in exchanging 25,000 shares at $2.35, cents, Trinidad and Tobago NGL closed 99 cents higher at $17.99, trading 9,477 stock units and West Indian Tobacco gained 40 cents to settle at $34.65, with 10,050 stock units changing hands.
Losers│ Scotiabank shed 20 cents in transferring 913 units to close at $54.75.
Firm Trades│ Ansa McAL was unchanged at $50, with 37 units changing hands, L.J Williams B share traded 34,560 shares at $1.40, NCB Financial ended at $7.88, with 1,600 units crossing the market. One Caribbean Media transferred 3,000 stock units at $5.25, Point Lisas remained at $3.25, in exchanging 300 units and Unilever Caribbean closed at $17 trading 10,000 shares.

The market closed with the prices of seven securities rising, four declining and five closing unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 167,722 shares valued at $1,805,037 compared to 227,019 shares for $2,597,044 on Thursday.
Losers│ Clico Investments lost 17 cents trading 6,969 stock units and closed at $24.58, Massy Holdings fell $1 to $57, in an exchange of 1,079 units. National Enterprises lost 15 cents to $4.50 in transferring 1,265 shares and One Caribbean Media ended 20 cents lower at a 52 weeks’ low of $5.25, with 11,200 stock units changing hands.
Market activity ended 439,536 shares valued at $5,553,342 passing through the market, compared to 432,782 shares for $3,520,958 on Monday.
Scotiabank slid 35 cents to $54.60, with an exchange of 29 units and West Indian Tobacco closed at $34.10, with a loss of 40 cents and 621 units changing hands.
Sixteen securities traded, down from 14 on Thursday and the market closed, with the prices of five advancing, four declining and seven ending unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to only 55,883 units at $1,622,293 compared to 168,366 shares for $1,257,424 on Thursday.
First Caribbean International shed 5 cents in trading 300 units to settle at $7.15, National Flour closed at $1.80, with a loss of 2 cents transferring 1,552 stock units and Scotiabank finished 39 cents lower at $54.60 with of 25 units changing hands.
Fourteen securities traded on Thursday, with just one advancing, five declining and eight remained unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 168,366 shares valued at $1,257,424 compared to 125,817 shares for $1,972,975 on Wednesday from 18 securities.
Republic Financial Holdings shed 20 cents in a transfer of 52 units at $139.25 and West Indian Tobacco slipped 29 cents to $34.50, with an exchange of 5,100 units.
JMMB Group was unchanged at $1.95 with 26,106 stock units changing hands, Massy Holdings ended at $57, after the trading of 4,795 units. National Enterprises traded 5,000 units at $4.65, One Caribbean Media closed at $5.50, with investors having exchanged 24,806 stock units, investors exchanged 
The T&T Composite Index fell 5.25 points to 1,304.40. The All T&T Index dropped 8.44 points to 1,760.56, while the Cross Listed Index lost 0.27 points to close at 114.63.
Firm Traders│ Angostura Holdings was unchanged at $14.90 trading 164 units, Ansa Merchant Bank closed at $37 exchanging 3,350 units, Clico Investments finished at $25 in exchanging nine units. First Citizens Bank remained at $45.71, with 454 units crossing the market, National Flour held firm at $1.90, with a transfer of 142 units, Republic Financial Holding ended at $139.50 with 2,619 units changing hands. Trinidad and Tobago NGL traded 1,769 units at $17.50 and Unilever Caribbean held firm at $16.99 with investors exchanging 67,889 shares.
First Citizens Bank closed at $45.71, with 3,200 units changing hands, JMMB Group remained at $2, after transferring 130 units. National Enterprises traded 1,150 units at $4.65, National Flour closed at $1.90, with 50 units passing through the market, One Caribbean Media was unchanged at $5.45, with 799 units changing hands. Investors in Prestige Holdings transferred ten units at $8.20 each, Scotiabank held firm at $54.99, with 117 units crossing the market and Unilever Caribbean closed at $16.99 in trading 150 units.
The market was closed on Friday, the Labour Day holiday, with the number of securities trading, rose to the highest level since March 17, when 21 securities traded and the fifth time for 2020 that 20 or more securities crossed the market in a single session, this year.
Trinidad and Tobago NGL closed at $18.01, with a loss of 97 cents with 4,623 stock units changing hands and West Indian Tobacco lost 1 cent transferring 1,300 units and closed at $35.49.
Losers│ Agostini’s slid 75 cents to $24.25, in transferring 16,110 stock units, Clico Investments ended at $25.50, with a loss of 50 cents trading 18,898 stock units and West Indian Tobacco lost 6 cents exchanging 778 units to settle at $35.50.
