The Jamaica Stock Exchange lost ground again at the close on Wednesday with 42 securities trading, as the prices of 10 stocks in the overall market rose, 13 declined, including 3 stocks rising and 3 declining, from the junior market.

National Commercial Bank closed with 1,327,563 shares changing hands, the price fell by 20 cents to close at $41.80, Grace Kennedy chipped in with 253,791 units, with the price jumping $9, to close back at $125 and Jamaica Producers traded at a new 52 weeks’ high of $49, after rising by $1 with 17,253 shares changing hands.

Pan Jamaican Investment Trust closing with 2,427,860 shares trading, with a loss of 10 cents at $27, while Grace Kennedy chipped in with 305,550 units, with the price dropping $9, to close at $116. Grace traded 109,450 units between $124.95 and $125.
