The Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange ended trading on Tuesday, with prices mostly slipping after investors exchanged 60 percent more shares than on Monday, with more than five times the value.

The market closed with eighteen securities trading with the prices of two stocks advancing, six declining and ten remaining unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 439,247 shares valued at $23,292,329 compared to 273,047 shares for $4,226,887 on Monday from 15 securities.
The average trade on Monday amounted to 24,403 units at $1,294,018 versus an average of 18,203 stock units for $281,792 for each security. The average traded for the month to date is 14,909 shares at $410,492, versus an average of 14,103 units at $335,475. July closed with an average of 12,712 shares for $166,390.
The T&T Composite Index fell by 2.22 points to 1,315.27. The All T&T Index rose 0.36 points to 1,776.76, while the Cross Listed Index lost 0.66 points to close at 115.35.
IC bid-offer Indicator│ The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of three stocks higher than its last selling price and three with lower offers.
Stocks rising│ National Flour gained 5 cents in exchanging 150 units to finish at $1.85 and Republic Financial Holdings climbed $1.50 to $141.50 trading 147,819 shares.
Stocks declining│ Angostura Holdings shed 38 cents, ending at $14.96 in transferring 600 units, JMMB Group slipped 10 cents to close a 52 weeks’ low of $1.80, with 135,311 shares crossing the market, Massy Holdings dropped $1.95 to $58.05, after trading 18 units. Point Lisas ended at $3, with a loss of 10 cents transferring 1,463 units, 
Trinidad Cement lost 9 cents to finish at $2.01, with 5,000 stock units changing hands and Trinidad and Tobago NGL dropped $1.99 to settle at $17, after exchanging 5,216 stock units.
Stocks trading firm│ Agostini’s was unchanged at $25 trading 2,000 units, Calypso Macro Index Fund transferred 153 units at $14, Clico Investments held firm at $27.78 exchanging 37,741 shares. First Citizens Bank remained at $46.10 with trades of 1,520 units, Guardian Holdings closed at $19.20 transferring 140 units, Grace Kennedy traded 200 units at $3.50. NCB Financial Group exchanged 99,721 shares at $8, National Enterprises ended at $4.20, after a transfer of 595 units, Scotiabank finished at $54.65, with 467 units crossing the market and Unilever Caribbean closed at $17 exchanging 1,133 units changing hands.

The market closed with twelve securities trading with three advancing, two declining and seven stocks remaining unchanged. Trading resulted in 122,491 shares valued at $2,157,481 passing through the market, down from 131,310 stocks for $2,321,854 on Thursday from 17 securities.
Stocks rising│ Republic Financial Holdings gained 50 cents to close at $141.50, with 2,281 units changing hands, Trinidad Cement ended 10 cents higher at $2.10, in trading 50,000 shares and Unilever Caribbean had 5,000 stock units exchanged at $17, after picking up 10 cents.
The market closed with twelve securities trading with two advancing, five declining and five remained unchanged. Trading accounted for 117,290 shares valued at $3,215,698 compared to 232,343 stocks for $5,720,884 from 13 securities on Friday.
Republic Financial Holdings dropped $3.50 to close at $136, in exchange for 130 units. Trinidad Cement shed 10 cents to settle at $2, with 500 units changing hands and Unilever Caribbean closed 5 cents lower at $16.90 after trading 738 units.
The increased volume and value of stocks trading on Friday flowed from two fewer securities than Thursday, with thirteen securities trading on Friday. Trading ended, with two stocks advancing, three declining and eight remaining unchanged.
Stocks declining│Guardian Holdings lost 70 cents to closed at $19, after transferring 26,185 stock units, Massy Holdings slipped 2 cents trading 33,347 shares to end at $57.98 and Scotiabank was down 3 cents to $54.75, with 500 units crossing the market.
The market closed, with eight securities changing hands, five less than on Tuesday, and resulting in the prices of three stocks rising, none declining and five remaining unchanged.
Stocks gaining| Clico Investment Fund gained 49 cents to end at $25.50 exchanging 42,144 stocks, First Citizens Bank climbed $2.30 to settle at $48.80 trading 63 shares and Guardian Holdings rose 50 cents in closing at $19.70 in trading 210,000 units.
Trading closed, with the price of one stock rising, five declining and nine remaining unchanged. At the close of the market, the Composite Index dropped 3.66 points to end at 1308.18, the All T&T Index fell 1.96 points to 1,769.82 and the Cross Listed Index slipped 0.73 points to 114.38.
Firm Traders| Clico Investment Fund ended at $25.01, with 5,046 units crossing the exchange. Massy Holdings closed at $58, with 1,578 stock units changing hands, National Enterprises settled at $4.50 after trading 973 shares, Prestige Holdings settled at $8.25 with 250 units changing hands, Republic Financial Holdings closed at $139.47 in exchanging 69 stock units, Scotiabank ended at $54.75, with 2,675 shares passing through the market. Trinidad & Tobago NGL remained at $17 while trading 11,062 units, Trinidad Cement settled at $2.10 in finishing with 6,710 units, clearing the market and West Indian Tobacco closed at $35 after just four units passing through the market.
At the close of the market, the Composite Index declined by 7.29 points to 1,311.84, the All T&T Index dropped 11.17 points to close at 1,771.78 and the Cross Listed Index shed 0.45 points to finish at 115.11.

Scotiabank stayed at $54.75, with 50 shares changing hands, Trinidad & Tobago NGL remained at $17 with investors swapping 40,903 shares, Trinidad Cement traded 3,788 stock units and closed at $2.10. Unilever Caribbean closed at $16.90 with an exchange of 33 shares and West Indian Tobacco closed at $35 while exchanging 706 stock units.

Republic Financial Holdings lost 1 cent in ending at $139.47 and cleared the market with 1,914 units and Scotiabank dropped by 5 cents ending at $54.90 after exchanging 20,237 shares.
The market closed with an exchange of 24,105 shares, accounting for $639,961 compared to 380,420 units at $1,777,572 on Friday. An average of 2,009 units traded for the day at $53,330, in contrast to an average of 31,702 at $148,131 on Friday.
West Indian Tobacco increased 5 cents to end at $34.65 with 3,541 units changing hands.
