The price of Palace Amusement jumped 96 percent by $540 close at a record high of $1,100 at the close of trading on the Jamaica Stock Exchange on Wednesday as investors responded to increased business being done from the Black Panther movie, that should raise profits sharply.
By rising to the current level the stock has become the most expensive local ordinary equity ever to trade on the local exchange, bettering Eppley that hit a high of $735 and Lascelles over $500 when they were acquired.
