Market activity ended on Monday, with the market eking modest gains after traded 534 percent more shares with a 251 percent increased value than on Friday, resulting in more stocks falling than rising at the close of trading on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange.

Market activity on Thursday resulted in a rising market after trading 115 percent more shares carrying 211 percent higher value than on Wednesday after more than twice the number of stocks rose as declined at the close of trading on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange.
