Supreme Ventures was the dominant trade by far on the Jamaica Stock Exchange on Monday with 39,898,309 trading between $4.71 and the closing price of $4.52 after falling 18 cents. Mayberry Investments sold 11,990,487 units from their inventory at $4.71 to Scotia Investments for a mix of buying for in-house inventory and for clients. In the afternoon session Mayberry crossed 27,884,209 units and bought them for in-house inventory with 27,821,082 units, trading at $4.52 each.
In the overall market the prices of 10 securities gained out of a total of 37 securities that traded, with 13 declining, including 5 stocks, rising and 1 falling from the junior market.
The market closed with an overall volume of 42,773,267 units valued at $ 226,239,889 changing hands, in all market segments. The junior market accounted for 257,522 units traded, valued at $1,655,683 of all trades.

In the overall market the prices of 19 securities gained out of a total of 46 securities that traded, with 10 declining, including 9 stocks, rising and 5 falling from the junior market.
The gains enjoyed on Wednesday was almost erased as the JSE Market Index dropped 2,117.74 points to end at 160,164.47, the all Jamaica Composite Index sunk 2,368.36 points to close at 177,954.20 and the JSE combined index nosedived 1,837.75 points, to end at 171,104.13.
The market closed with an overall volume of 2,788,209 units valued at $36,729,803 changing hands, in all market segments. The junior market accounted for 910,288 units traded, valued at $3,268,885 of all trades.

Trading at 10:45 am resulted in 26 securities changing hands, accounting for a volume of 2,127,681 shares. The average number of shares traded amounts to 81,834 units compared to 83,033 units on Tuesday.

Carreras lost 15 cents in exchanging 2,622 shares at $64.84. Trading in 1834 Investments, resulted in 173,094 shares changing hands to close at $1.30. Jamaica Broilers ended with 24,959 shares changing hands, to close with a fall of 49 cents at $15, Jamaica Producers fell 10 cents in trading 13,480 shares to end at $8.05, JMMB Group traded 1,600 units to end at $9.99, Kingston Wharves climbed 1 cent with 16,676 units changing hands and closed at $16. National Commercial Bank ended with 159,813 units changing hands to close with a loss of 6 cents at $41.94, Pan Jamaican traded 25,605 shares  to end at $24.50, Radio Jamaica gained 5 cents to close at $1.42 after 16,826 shares changed hands,IN-JSE fn Qts 27-07-16 Sagicor Group ended with 4,500 shares changing hands and declined 5 cents to $22. Sagicor Real Estate Fund traded 5,620 shares to close at $10.12, after falling by 38 cents,  Scotia Group fell by 30 cents in trading 11,316 shares to end at $30.20, Seprod had 8,600 units changing hands at $17.40 for a rise of 40 cents. Proven Investments traded 819,764 units to close at 16 US cents for a fall of 0.99 US cents. JMMB Group 7.5% traded 600,000 shares while gaining 5 cents to close at $1.10 and Jamaica Money Market Brokers 7.50% preference share traded 191,550 units at $2.09.
