The JSE Market Index rose 158.02 points to end at 158,957.74, the all Jamaica Composite Index gained 176.73 points to close at 176,604.67 and the JSE combined index added 402.50 points, to end at 169,825.87.
The market closed another day of moderate trading, with 10,582,014 units valued at $306,568,341 changing hands, in all market segments, thanks partially to 6.76 million units trade in Jamaica Broilers Group. The junior market accounted for 1,483,101 units traded valued at $7,313,357 of all trades.

At the end of market activities, Berger Paints traded 15,196 shares and gained 15 cents to end at $4.55, Cable & Wireless traded 162,613 shares to close at $1.17,
Caribbean Cement fell 45 cents in trading 61,670 shares to close at $22.55, Carreras rose $2.49 in exchanging 64,676 shares at $64.99. Trading in 1834 Investments, resulted in 46,006 shares changing hands to close with a gain of 10 cents at $1.30. Grace Kennedy closed at $122.50 after falling by 50 cents, with 17,598 units changing hands. Jamaica Broilers ended with 6,763,178 shares changing hands, to close with a rise of 26 cents at $15, Jamaica Producers traded 60,419 shares and ended at $8.15, Jamaica Stock Exchange rose $1 to end at $23 while trading 20,704 shares. JMMB Group traded 100,100 units and gained 9 cents to end at $9.99, Kingston Wharves climbed 49 cents with 200 units changing hands and closed at $15.99. National Commercial Bank ended with 43,398 units changing hands to close at $42, Pan Jamaican traded 22,126 shares and gained 50 cents to end at $24.50, Portland JSX traded 40,019 shares and lost 1 cent to close at $12.89. Radio Jamaica lost 2 cents to close at $1.37 after 266,334 shares changed hands, Sagicor Group ended with 20,898 shares changing hands and declined 95 cents to $22.04,
Sagicor Real Estate Fund traded 38,447 shares to close at $10.50, Scotia Group rose by 30 cents in trading 124,880 shares to end at $30.50. Scotia Investments had 6,800 units changing hands at $26.10 for a fall of $1.39, Supreme Ventures gained 20 cents in trading 48,268 shares to end at $4.80, Proven Investments traded 60,990 units to close at 16.99 US cents for a rise of 0.99 US cents. JMMB Group traded 5,000 shares while losing 3 cents to close at US$1.05, JMMB Group 7.5% preference share traded 425,253 units at $1.05 and Jamaica Money Market Brokers 7.50% preference share traded 680,580 units at $2.09 after slipping 1 cent.

Seprod traded 31,772 shares, to close at $17, Supreme Ventures traded 39,024 shares to end at $4.60, Proven Investments traded 2,527,640 units to close at 16 US cents for a fall of 0.95 US cents and Jamaica Money Market Brokers 7.50% preference share traded 104,545 units at $2.10.
The Jamaica Stock Exchange recorded gains at the close on Friday, as winners beat out losers with a total of 36 securities traded, of which 14 stocks gained, 13 declined, including 6 stocks rising and 6 declining from the junior market, as the market continues to consolidate. 
Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator reading showed 14 stocks with bids higher than their last selling prices and 1 with a lower offer, an indication that stocks should mostly gain on Friday.
National Commercial Bank ended with 79,038 units changing hands, with the price declining 7 cents to close at $41.95, Pan Jamaica traded 10,320 shares and lost 40 cents at $23.10, Portland JSX traded 16,900 shares to close at $12.90. Radio Jamaica fell 8 cents to close at $1.28 after 88,906 shares changed hands, Sagicor Group ended with 8,750 shares changing hands, but fell 48 cents to $22.52, Scotia Group traded 200,700 shares to end at $31. Scotia Investments climbed 99 cents while it traded just 1,550 shares, to close at $27.49 and Supreme Ventures traded 63,275 shares to end at $4.60.

Scotia Investments dropped $1.29 while it traded just 100 shares, to close at $26.50 and Supreme Ventures gained 10 cents in trading 109,000 shares to end at $4.60.

Kingston Wharves gained 1 cent with 3,705 units changing hands at $14.71. Margaritaville Turks traded dropped 1.51 US cents with 57,080 shares at 19.49 US cents, National Commercial Bank ended with 231,433 units changing hands, with the price rising 50 cents to close at $42, Pan Jamaican Investment Trust traded 8,167 shares to close at $23.50 after gaining 50 cents.

The Jamaica Stock Exchange indices declined at the close on Monday, although up to 12:20 Pm the major indices were up but at the close more stocks rose than declined. The JSE Market Index slipped 847.88 points to end at 158,922.21, the all Jamaica Composite Index fell 948.22 points to close at 176,564.93 and the JSE combined index fell 840.82 points, to end at 169,492.16.

Jamaica Stock Exchange traded 10,000 shares at $21.35, JMMB Group traded 20,333 units and gained 13 cents to end at $9.85, with Kingston Wharves trading 39,567 units at $15 with a fall of $1.35, after trading as high as $16.30, National Commercial Bank ended with 142,306 units changing hands at $42. Pan Jamaican Investment Trust traded 7,695 shares to close at $24 after falling 30 cents, Portland JSX fell 74 cents and ended with 108,852 shares changing hands at a new closing high of $12.75. Pulse Investments traded 30,000 shares with a rise of 5 cents to end at $2.55, Sagicor Group ended with 47,036 shares changing hands, the price dropped 60 cents to end at $23.05. Scotia Group lost 15 cents with 43,100 shares trading, to close at $30.06, Scotia Investments climbed $1.80 and ended with 94,054 shares trading, to close at $27.80, Proven Investments accounted for 43,335 units to end at 17 US cents and JMMB 7.50% preference share accounted for 732,325 at $1.05.

Sagicor Real Estate Fund traded 17,845 shares to close at $10.12, Scotia Group gained 19 cents with 624 shares trading, to close at $30.21, Scotia Investments climbed $1 and ended with 5.700 shares trading, to close at $26, while Supreme Ventures accounted for only 2,600 units but lost 20 cents to end at $4.30.
The JSE Market Index dropped 1,772.60 points to end at 159,096.91. The all Jamaica Composite Index dived 1,982.38 points to close at 176,760.30 and the JSE combined index sank 1,923.60 points, to end at 168,152.55.
Radio Jamaica traded at $1.60 after 48,727 shares changed hands, with a 10 cents gain, but the stock was offered at $1.58 at the close. Sagicor Group ended with 39,904 shares changing hands, the price fell 45 cents to end at $23.05. Sagicor Real Estate Fund traded 454,950 shares and rose 2 cents to close at $10.12, Scotia Group fell 38 cents with 41,975 shares trading, to close at $30.02, Scotia Investments dropped $1 and ended with 2,000 shares trading, to close at $25, while Supreme Ventures accounted for 54,005 units to end at $4.50. JMMB Group 7.5% preference share traded 200,000 units to close with a gain of 1 cent at $1.05 and Jamaica Money Market Brokers 7.5% preference share traded 61,809 units to close with a loss of 1 cent at $2.09.
