The Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange closed little movement in stock prices that left the market indices with margin changes at the close as declining stocks were equal in number to those advancing.

Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange Head Quarters

The T&T Composite Index added 0.20 points to 1,267.60. The All T&T Index eked out 0.01 points to 1,673.26, while the Cross Listed Index inched 0.05 points up to close at 116.62.
The market closed with 14 securities changing hands resulting in three stocks rising, three declining and eight remaining unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 107,527 shares valued at $3,503,097 compared to 117,075 shares for $3,301,553 on Monday.
IC bid-offer Indicator│ The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of seven stocks higher than their last selling prices and five with lower offers.
Gainers│ First Citizens Bank gained 50 cents to close at $40, in transferring 2,135 stock units, Guardian Holdings rose 4 cents to settle at $18.10, with 684 units changing hands and Massy Holdings ended at $50, after gaining 50 cents after trading 23,051 shares.
Losers│ One Caribbean Media finished at a 52 weeks’ low of $6, with a loss of 10 cents trading 2,750 stock units, Prestige Holdings shed 40 cents in exchanging 4,000 stock units and closed at $7.50 and Scotiabank lost 1 cent transferring 11,887 shares to end at $54.98.
Firm Trades│ Ansa Merchant Bank transferred 50 units at $37, First Caribbean International closed at $7.50, with an exchange of 13,621 shares, JMMB Group switched ownership of 935 units at $1.95, Republic Financial Holdings held firm at $132.65 after exchanging 6,162 stock units. Trinidad Cement closed at $1.90 trading 14,355 shares, Trinidad and Tobago NGL remained at $16.88, with 17,618 shares crossing the market, Unilever Caribbean was unchanged at $17.05 after transferring 946 units and West Indian Tobacco ended with an exchange of 9,333 stock units at $31.

Trading on Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange closed on Monday with trading levels above Friday’s, leading to a modest change in prices and the market Indices.
The T&T Composite Index fell by 1.05 points to 1,267.40. The All T&T Index gained 0.30 points to 1,673.25, while the Cross Listed Index lost 0.33 points to close at 116.57.
The market closed with 15 securities changing hands, with three stocks rising, three declining and nine remained unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 117,075 shares valued at $3,301,553 compared to 67,857 shares for $1,787,539 on Friday.

Losers│ JMMB Group lost 5 cents in exchanging 55,145 shares to settle at $1.95, Massy Holdings closed at $49.50, with a loss of 50 cents trading 14,994 stock units and One Caribbean Media shed 40 cents with 625 units crossing the exchange to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $6.10.
Firm Trades│ Agostini’s traded 51 units at $24, Angostura Holdings exchanged 390 units at $13.85, First Caribbean International closed at $7.50, with a transfer of 14,435 shares. Grace Kennedy swapped 500 units at $2.85, National Flour remained at $1.29, with 5,039 stock units changing hands, Republic Financial Holdings transferred 15,596 shares at $132.65. TTSE stocks start May with gains

Trading on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange started off on a positive note in May, resulting from gains in the three market indices tracked by this publication as rising stocks had the upper-hand over declining ones.
The T&T Composite Index advanced 1.79 points to 1,268.45. The All T&T Index gained 1.56 points to 1,672.95, while the Cross Listed Index added 0.27 points to close at 116.90.
The market closed with seven stocks rising, two declining and five unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 67,857 shares valued at $1,787,539 compared to 401,232 shares for $7,514,006 on Thursday.
IC bid-offer Indicator│ The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of five stocks higher than their last selling prices and four with lower offers.
Gainers│ Ansa Merchant Bank gained 70 cents to close at $37, in trading 147 units, Clico Investments advanced to $28.49, with gains of $3.49 after transferring 42,889 shares, Guardian Media closed 20 cents higher at $6.60, with an exchange of 2,076 stock units. JMMB Group picked up 5 cents to finish at $2, after swapping 2,000 units, National Flour gained 3 cents to reach $1.29, in exchanging 250 units, Prestige Holdings gains of 50 cents to end at $7.90, while transferring 300 units and Scotiabank picked up 19 cents to end at $54.19 and 1,000 units traded.
Losers│ National Enterprises shed 10 cents trading 2,247 stock units and closed at a 52 weeks’ low of $3.90 and Trinidad & Tobago NGL ended at $16.88, with a loss of 1 cent after exchanging 1,417 units.
Firm Trades│ First Citizens Bank held firm at $39.40, with a transfer of 100 units, Massy Holdings traded 9,871 stock units at $50, NCB Financial exchanged 500 units closed at $8. One Caribbean Media swapped 4,485 stock units at $6.50 and Unilever Caribbean ended the day at $17.05, with 575 units changing hands.

Price movements on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange were mostly down at the close of trading on Thursday with only nine stocks trading, down from 19 previously, leading to declines in the All T&T and the Composite Indices.
The T&T Composite Index slid 1.61 points to 1,266.66. The All T&T Index fell by 3.58 points to 1,671.39, while the Cross Listed Index gained 0.05 points to close at 116.63.
The market closed with two stocks rising, three declining and four unchanged. Investors exchanged 401,232 shares valued at $7,514,006 compared to 206,791 shares for $4,236,844 on Wednesday.

TTSE market ekes out gains

Trading on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange rose sharply on Wednesday with increased securities, with less volume and value than on Thursday leading the two leading market indices to rise after Republic Holdings and West Indian Tobacco helped to move the indices higher.

The T&T Composite Index gained 0.92 points to 1,268.27 while the All T&T Index climbed 5.82 points to 1,674.97 and the Cross Listed Index shed 0.55 points to close at 116.58.
The market closed with three stocks rising, six declining and ten left unchanged. Investors moved 206,791 shares valued at $4,236,844 through the market, compared to 270,942 shares for $7,464,144 on Tuesday.

Gainers│ National Flour added 16 cents to finish at $1.26, with an exchange of 312 units, Scotiabank TT closed 5 cents higher at $54.80, after swapping 318 units and West Indian Tobacco climbed $3.10 to $34, with 44,815 shares changing hands but closed with the offer at $330.89 to sell 20,000 units.
Losers│ Calypso Macro Index Fund fell by 13 cents to $15.75, in transferring 375 units, First Caribbean International exchanged 1,308 units at $7.50, after falling 10 cents, Guardian Holdings lost 4 cents trading 3,510 stock units and settled at $18.06. JMMB Group closed at $1.93, with a loss of 2 cents with 475 units changing hands, National Enterprises shed 15 cents to end at a 52 weeks’ low of $4, with a transfer of 26,578 shares and Prestige Holdings ended at a 52 weeks’ low of $7.40, after losing 10 cents trading 1,453 units.
Firm Trades│ Ansa Merchant Bank traded 1,168 units and closed at $36.30, Clico Investments ended at $22.50, with an exchange of 102,745 shares, Endeavour Holdings held firm at $12.51, in transferring 75 units. Fall returns to TTSE on Tuesday

After a brief reprieve, the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange return to losing ways with all three indices declining on Tuesday as the number of securities trading rose over Monday’s level but with no stock rising.
At the close of trading, the T&T Composite Index declined by 3.77 points to 1,267.35. The All T&T Index was down 4.60 points to 1,669.15, while the Cross Listed Index lost 0.40 points to close at 117.13.
Investors exchanged 17 securities resulted in five stocks declining, twelve unchanged and no stock advancing. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 270,942 shares valued at $7,464,144, upon the 142,753 shares for $696,761 on Monday.

Price movements were mostly moderate in trading on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange on Monday with volume and value well down on Friday’s levels.
The T&T Composite Index fell by 0.75 points to 1,271.12. The All T&T Index gained 0.49 points to end at 1,673.75, while the Cross Listed Index shed 0.27 points to close at 117.53.
The market closed with two stocks rising, five stocks declining, while eight were unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 147,753 shares valued at $759,291 compared to 165,117 shares for $2,446,086 on Friday.

The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange market index just inched higher at the end of trading on Friday with securities of only eleven companies crossing the exchange with less volume and far less value than on Thursday.
The T&T Composite Index advanced by 0.04 points to 1,271.87. The All T&T Index gained 1.67 points to end at 1,673.26, while the Cross Listed Index shed 0.22 points to close at 117.80.
At the close of trading, no security increased in price while four declined and seven remained unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 165,117 units valued at $2,446,086 compared to 267,202 shares for $10,812,869 on Thursday.

The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange closed higher at the end of trading on Thursday with a reduced number of just ten companies crossing the exchange but with a higher volume and value than on Wednesday.
The T&T Composite Index advanced by 4.43 points to 1,271.83. The All T&T Index gained 2.71 points to end at 1,671.59, while the Cross Listed Index added 0.84 points to close at 118.02.
The market closed ten securities trading and ended with four stocks rising, two stocks declining, while four were unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 267,202 shares valued at $10,812,869 compared to 122,510 shares for $2,132,461 on Wednesday.

Stocks listed on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange, reverted on Wednesday, to the recent pattern of falling prices after posting gains on Tuesday. At the close, the T&T Composite Index advanced 9.73 points to 1,267.40, while the All T&T Index dropped 7.32 points to end at 1,668.88 and the Cross Listed Index gained 3.68 points to close at 117.18.
The market closed with three stocks rising, four declining, while five stocks closed unchanged. Trading volume passing through the market was 122,510 shares valued at $2,132,461 compared to 128,175 shares for $6,531,309 on Tuesday.
