Knutsford Express traded at a new high of $70 on Friday.

The Junior Market closed down on Thursday, with the index diving 71.37 points to end at 3,293.57 with 22 securities trading, compared to 21 on Thursday. Knutsford Express closed trading at all-time high of $70 with investors responding to the 5 for 1 stock split to take effect next week.
At the close of trading, 7 stocks advanced and 8 declined with 2,514,401 units valued at $21,351,143 changed hands, compared to 5,121,628 units valued at $19,594,786 on Thursday. Trading ended with 7 stocks having bids higher than their last sale prices and 2 with lower offers.

The Junior Market closed down on Thursday, with the index falling 10.30 points to end at 3,364.94 with 21 securities trading, compared to 26 on Wednesday. Eppley ordinary stock traded at an intraday all-time high of $12.50.
At the close of trading, 10 stocks advanced and 7 declined with 5,121,628 units valued at $19,594,786 changed hands, compared to 4,044,209 units valued at $14,886,455 on Wednesday. Trading ended with 8 stocks having bids higher than their last sale prices and 2 with lower offers.
The Junior Market ended trading with an average of 243,887 units for an average value of $933,085 compared to 155,547 units for an average value of $572,556, on the previous trading day. The Junior Market eked out another record close on Wednesday, having closed for Labour Day Holiday on Tuesday, with the index edging higher by 5.68 to end at 3,375.24 with 26 securities trading, compared to 24 on Monday.
At the close of trading, 6 stocks advanced and 9 declined with 4,044,209 units valued at $14,886,455 changed hands, compared to 1,187,417 units valued at $9,868,439 on Monday. Trading ended with 12 stocks having bids higher than their last sale prices and none with lower offers.

The Junior Market just eked out a record close on Monday, with the index edging higher by 0.58 points above the record on Wednesday last, as the overall index closed 29.26 points higher at 3,369.56.
At the close of trading 24 securities traded, compared to 20 on Friday as 10 advancing and 8 declined. Overall, 1,187,417 units valued at $9,868,439 changed hands, compared to 2,282,020 units valued at $12,200,612 on Friday. Trading ended with 6 stocks having bids higher than their last sale prices and 6 with lower offers.
The Junior Market ended trading with an average of 49,476 units for an average value of $411,185 compared to of 114,101 units for an average value of $610,031, on the previous trading day. Eppley hits new high of $10.10.

The Junior Market listed Eppley finally traded at a record of $10.10 on Friday, after a number of attempts recently to trade at $12 failed. The stock split 150 to 1 last year and has not traded since, with the last trade before today, being 9,000 units, at $735 on August 26 last year.
At the close of trading on Friday the index put on 13.46 points to close at 3,340.30 with
20 securities trading, compared to 24 on Thursday as 5 advancing and 4 declined. Overall, 2,282,020 units valued at $12,200,612 changed hands, compared to 2,279,741 units valued at $11,894,079 on Thursday. I$P Finance hits a new high of $35 on Wednesday up 1,650% since listing last year March.

The Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange logged another record close on Wednesday but with a modest rise of just 9.84 points to a record close of 3,368.98 with gains of 29.9 percent for 2017 to date. Trading levels were down sharply again compared to Tuesday’s levels.

Juniors jump 71 points to record close

Lasco Financial traded at a new record high on Tuesday.

The Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange surged 71.57 points end at 3,324.43 on Monday as four stocks traded during the day at new record highs as the level of trading climbs sharply over that on Friday.
At the close of the market, the number of securities trading, ended at 20 compared to 20 on Friday with 9 advancing and 7 declining. Overall, 5,640,429 units valued at $30,941,266 changed hands, compared to 1,367,990 units valued at $8,114,770 on Friday. Trading ended with 4 stocks having bids higher than their last sale prices and 4 with lower offers. Two stocks ended trading at new closing highs and two traded at an intraday highs.
The Junior Market ended trading with an average of 282,021 units for an average value of $1,547,063, compared to 62,181 units for an average value of $368,853, on the previous trading day. The average volume and value for the month to date are 85,923 units and $592,155, while at the close of the prior day, 66,313 units and $496,664. The average volume and value for April ended at 502,597 units and $2,768,003.
At the close of the market, AMG Packaging gained 1 cent to end at $4.66 with 22,494 units changing hands, Cargo Handlers fell 50 cents in trading just 177 shares at $20 Caribbean Cream closed trading with 36,063 changing hands, to close $1 down at $7.50, Caribbean Flavours traded 9,800 shares at $11, after rising 49 cents, Consolidated Bakeries rose 10 cents in trading 43,073 shares to close at $2.50, C2W Music had 31,500 units changing hands to close with a loss of 5 cents at 45 cents, Derrimon Trading fell 10 cents and ended at $7.60 with 24,800 shares changing hands, Dolphin Cove gained $1 to end at $21 with 4,900 shares trading, General Accident fell 24 cents and closed trading with 1,972,996 shares at $3.05, Honey Bun ended with 4,935 shares changing hands at $7.95, ISP Finance jumped $4 to end at record close of $28 with 46,731 units changing hands. Jamaican Teasclosed trading with 21,030 shares, with a gain of 20 cents at $4.95. Jetcon Corporationfell 74 cents to end at $15 with 205,492 shares trading, KLE Group lost 1 cent and ended at $2.69 with 1,000 shares changing hands, Knutsford Express closed with 1,377 shares trading to end at a record $68. Lasco Distributors ended with 1,281,181 units trading with a rise of 38 cents at $7.40, Lasco Financial jumped 90 cents and ended with 953,637 shares changing hands at a record $5.10, Lasco Manufacturing rose 22 cents and closed at $5.62 while trading 954,142 shares, Main Event ended trading 15,319 shares at $7, Sweet River ended at $3.50 with 19,482 units trading and tTech ended with 100 units changing hands at $7.50 after rising 50 cents.

Knutsford Express jumped $8.50 to a new record high of $68.

The Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange declined on Friday with the market index falling 26.72 points to end at 3,259.86 with volume rising above 1 million shares for the second trading day for the week.
At the close of the market, the number of securities trading, ended at 20 compared to 24 on Thursday with 10 advancing and 11 declining. Overall, 1,367,990 units valued at $8,114,770 changed hands, compared to 830,850 units valued at $6,979,202 on Thursday. Trading ended with 4 stocks having bids higher than their last sale prices and 4 with lower offers. Two stocks ended trading at new closing highs and two traded at an intraday high.
The Junior Market ended trading with an average of 62,181 units for an average value of $368,853, compared to 41,543 units for an average value of $348,960, on the previous trading day. The average volume and value for the month to date are 66,313 units and $496,664, while at the close of the prior day, 66,772 units and $511,865. The average volume and value for April ended at 502,597 units and $2,768,003.
At the close of the market, Access Financial Services dropped $6.75 and closed at $40.25 trading 3,531 shares, AMG Packaging fell 35 cents to end at $4.65 with 154,820 units changing hands, Blue Power closed at $39 with 400 units changing hands, CAC 2000 traded 3,200 shares to close with a loss of 30 cents at $7, Cargo Handlers gained 50 cents in trading 3,548 shares at $20.50 Caribbean Cream closed trading with 19,059 changing hands, to close 35 cents higher at $8.50, Caribbean Flavours traded 9,800 shares at $11, after rising 49 cents, Consolidated Bakeries lost 49 cents in trading 367,563 shares to close at $2.40, Derrimon Trading fell 55 cents and ended at $7.70 with 10,000 shares changing hands, General Accident rose 17 cents and closed trading with 544 shares at $3.29, Honey Bun added 15 cents and ended with 900 shares changing hands, at $7.95, Iron Rock Insurance traded 1,000 shares to end at $3.40, after rising 40 cents, ISP Finance fell $1 to end at $24 with 61,418 units changing hands. Jamaican Teas lost 70 cents in trading 294,454 shares, to close at $4.75. Jetcon Corporation rose 24 cents and ended at record $15.74 with 28,217 shares trading, KLE Group lost 10 cents and ended at $2.70 with 50,000 shares changing hands, Knutsford Express jumped $8.50 with 2,175 shares trading to end at a record $68.
