The all Jamaica Composite Index gained 307.31 points to 177,170.70, the Jamaica Stock Exchange Market Index gained 274.79 points to 159,463.88, the Jamaica Stock Exchange combined index climbed 582.36 point to close at 170,353.83 points andthe junior market index climbed 31.91 points to 2,187.05 with the jump in the price of Lasco Distributors.
Trading at 10:45am resulted in 20 securities changing hands, accounting for a volume of a mere 234,305 shares, with 6 securities rising and 7 falling. The average number of shares traded amounts to 11,715 units compared to an average of 53,267 units on Tuesday.

The Jamaica Stock Exchange recorded gains at the close on Tuesday, as winners beat out losers with a total of 39 securities traded, of which 15 stocks gained, 11 declined, including 4 stocks rising and 3 declining from the junior market as the market continues in consolidation mode.
The JSE Market Index climbed 266.88 points to end at 159,189.09, the all Jamaica Composite Index gained 298.46 points to close at 176,863.39 and the JSE combined index rose 279.31 points, to end at 169,771.47.
The market closed another day of moderate trading, with 6,645,778 units valued at $107,755,965 changing hands, in all market segments. The junior market accounted for 4,344,805 units traded valued at $20,722,712, of all trades.

Grace Kennedy gained 54 cents to close at $123.04 with 439,645 units changing hands. Jamaica Broilers ended with 15,779 units changing hands to close at $15.50 with a rise of 50 cents, Jamaica Producers traded 13,800 shares with a rise of 40 cents to $8.40, Jamaica Stock Exchange close with just 11,831 shares changing hands at $24, JMMB Group traded 155,705 units to end at $9.50. Kingston Wharves gained 1 cent with 3,705 units changing hands at $14.71. Margaritaville Turks traded dropped 1.51 US cents with 57,080 shares at 19.49 US cents, National Commercial Bank ended with 231,433 units changing hands, with the price rising 50 cents to close at $42, Pan Jamaican Investment Trust traded 8,167 shares to close at $23.50 after gaining 50 cents.
Pulse Investments ended with 7,000 shares changing hands at $2.90, after gaining 35 cents, Sagicor Group ended with 13,200 shares changing hands, but fell 5 cents to $23.10, Sagicor Real Estate Fund traded 108,000 shares to close at $10.10, Scotia Group rose 8 cents in trading 547,645 shares to end at $30.15. Scotia Investments traded 9,336 shares, to close at $27.79, Supreme Ventures fell 10 cents in trading 1,300 shares to end at $4.50, Proven Investments ordinary shares traded 10,067 units at 15 US cents, down from 16.94 US cents, Sterling Investments traded 10,000 at $13 and JMMB Group 7.25% preference share traded 54,916 units at $1.05 by gaining 1 cent.
Lasco Manufacturing 3m trade – Tuesday
Junior market trading improved on Tuesday over the low levels on Monday. The market closed with 13 securities being active accounting for more than 4 million shares changing hands compared to less than 1 million on Monday. The junior index closed higher at 2,155.14 with a rise of 3.10 points as 4 stocks gained and 3 declined.
At the close of the market on Tuesday, 4,344,805 units traded, valued at $20,712,312, as Lasco Manufacturing traded just over 3 million shares. A total of 5 stocks closed with bids higher than their last selling prices and 3 ended with lower offers.

Lasco Distributors ended with 183,959 shares changing hands, but rose 4 cents to $7.10, Lasco Financial ended with a loss of 9 cents while 398,448 shares changed hands at $3.26, Lasco Manufacturing closed at $5.01 with 3,015,390 shares trading to gain 1 cent. Medical Disposables traded 11,900 shares to close at $3.10 and Derrimon Trading preference share ended with 5,000 shares changing hands to end at $2.08,
JSE off to moderate start – Tuesday
Jamaica stocks is off to moderate start in trading on Tuesday morning after 80 minutes of the opening of market but the indices recorded modest gains with the market continuing to consolidate.
Securities trading over 100,000 units include Cable & Wireless that traded 200267 at $1.12, Derrimon Trading had 530,506 units trading at $3.05, Lasco Distributors with 143,689 shares at $7.10, National Commercial Bank having 179,342 shares changing hands at $42.
The all Jamaica Composite Index gained 389.78 points to 176,954.71, the Jamaica Stock Exchange Market Index gained 348.54 points to 159,270.75, the Jamaica Stock Exchange combined index climbed 325.73 point to close at 169,817.89 points andthe junior market index slipped 0.24 points to 2,152.28.
Trading at 10:50am resulted in 25 securities changing hands, accounting for a volume of 1,331,680 shares, with 8 securities rising and 8 falling. The average number of shares traded amounts to 53,267 units compared to an average of 110,630 units on Monday.
JSE majors fall again – Monday
The Jamaica Stock Exchange indices declined at the close on Monday, although up to 12:20 Pm the major indices were up but at the close more stocks rose than declined. The JSE Market Index slipped 847.88 points to end at 158,922.21, the all Jamaica Composite Index fell 948.22 points to close at 176,564.93 and the JSE combined index fell 840.82 points, to end at 169,492.16.

Jamaica Broilers ended with 9,018 units changing hands to close at $15, Jamaica Producers traded 3,543 shares but fell 40 cents to $8, Jamaica Stock Exchange jumped $2.65 with just 200 shares changing hands at $24, JMMB Group traded 499,703 units but fell 50 cents to end at $9.50. Kingston Wharves had 9,315 units changing hands at $14.70, having shed $1.29. Margaritaville Turks traded gained 1 US cents with 1,109,980 shares at 21 US cents, Mayberry Investments lost 20 cents in trading 22,900 units at $3.30, National Commercial Bank ended with 7,895 units changing hands but lost 30 cents to close at $41.50, 
Pan Jamaican Investment Trust traded 11,771 shares to close at $23. Portland JSX ended with 6,700 shares changing hands at $12.90, Radio Jamaica traded 16,891 shares to close at $1.46 after losing 9 cents, Sagicor Group ended with 2,000 shares changing hands, but gained 5 cents to $23.15, Sagicor Real Estate Fund traded 18,000 shares and lost 2 cents to close at $10.10. Scotia Investments gained $1.79 trading 1,000 shares, to close at $27.79. Supreme Ventures traded 118,100 shares to end at $4.60, Proven Investments ordinary shares traded 35,650 units at 16.95 US cents, up from 16.94 US cents, Sterling Investments traded 15,224 in the US dollar market at 11 US cents and Jamaica Money Market Brokers 7.5% preference share traded 1,522,620 units at $2.10 by gaining 1 cent.
Caribbean Cream hits new high – Monday
Junior market trading sank to only 7 securities being active accounting for less than 1 million shares changing hands as the market continues to consolidate. At the close Caribbean Cream traded at a new all-time high of $7.55 but just barely held on, for a new closing high with a gain of 5 cents at $6.70, with 46,157 shares traded.
Active supply for Cream is presently low with just two offers just over 4,000 shares while bids sit around the $6.50 mark, waiting for some volume to appear on the sell side.
The junior index closed at 2,152.04 with a fall 5.30 points as 3 advancing and 3 declining. At the close of the market on Monday, only 969,188 units traded, valued at $4,657,054. A total of 5 stocks closed with bids higher than 
their last selling prices and 2 ended with lower offers.
At the close, Honey Bun lost 1 cent while trading 8,390 shares to close at $5.59, Jetcon Corporation rose 5 cents in trading 60,000 shares and closed at $2.70, KLE Group had 750 units changing hands, with a rise of 15 cents, to close at $1.30. Lasco Distributors ended with 29,775 shares changing hands, but fell 26 cents to $7.06, Lasco Financial ended with 119,320 shares changing hands at $3.35 and Lasco Manufacturing closed at $5 with 704,796 shares trading.
Kremi hits new high of $7.55
Jamaica stocks gained in trading on Monday in the main market but there was some slippage in the junior market although Caribbean Cream traded at a new high of $7.55,
up by 90 cents with 21,157 units as investors continue to respond to the company’s first quarter results.
The all Jamaica Composite Index gained 130.80 points to 179,643.95, the Jamaica Stock Exchange Market Index gained 109.96 points to 159,887.05, the Jamaica Stock Exchange combined index climbed 1,499.13 point to close at 171,976.49 points andthe junior market index slipped 0.22 points to 2,157.12.
Subsequent to 12:20PM the main market indices enter negative territory.
Trading at 12:20 pm, resulted in 28 securities changing hands, accounting for a volume of 3,097,628 shares with 14 securities rising and 7 falling. The average number of shares traded amounts to 110,630 units compared to an average of 63,379 units on Friday.
JSE fails to build on Thursday’s gains
The Jamaica Stock Exchange indices declined moderately at the close on Friday, down sharply from the big gains on Thursday, as more stocks declined than gained. The JSE Market Index slipped 141.33 points to end at 159,770.09, the all Jamaica Composite Index fell 158.06 points to close at 177,513.15 and the JSE combined index fell 144.38 points, to end at 170,332.98.

Mayberry Investments lost 20 cents in trading only 100 units at $3.30, National Commercial Bank ended with 34,174 units changing hands but lost 20 cents to close at $41.80,
Pan Jamaican Investment Trust traded 32,730 shares to close at $23 after falling $2, Portland JSX ended with 15,700 shares changing hands and declined 10 cents to $12.90. Sagicor Group ended with 28,605 shares changing hands, but lost 40 cents to $23.10. Scotia Group lost 73 cents with 177,931 shares trading, to close at $30.07, Scotia Investments traded 12,900 shares to gain $1 and close at $26, Supreme Ventures traded 4,007 shares and gained 30 cents to end at $4.60 and Proven Investments ordinary shares traded 46,550 units at 17 US cents up from 16.95 US cents.
Caribbean Cream hits new high – Friday
The junior market index drifted down 1.29 points to end at 2,157.34 even as closed with 6 advancing and 2 declining while Caribbean Cream traded 125,720 shares with a gain of 60 cents, to close at a new all-time high of $6.65, in continued response to an 81 percent jump in profit to $71 million, for the May quarter.
At the close of the market on Friday, 1,509,505 units traded valued at $8,532,147 and ending with 11 securities being active. A total of 4 stocks closed with bids higher than their last selling prices and 3 ended with lower offers.
At the close, AMG Packaging fell 1 cent in trading 201,400 shares to close at $12.50. AMG reported slightly lower sales in the May quarter, compared with 2015 with it being slightly higher in the nine months to May, but reported profit of $15.9 million in the quarter versus $20.76 million in 2015 and $67.9 million for the nine months compared with $52.45 million, in the similar period in 2015. Blue Power ended at $16.18 with 9,000 units changing hands, Consolidated Bakeries gained 7 cents in trading 400,000 shares to close at $2.10. Dolphin Cove gained 25 cents to $12.75 with 25,377 shares changing hands, 
Honey Bun regained the 30 cents it lost on Thursday while trading 185,000 shares to close at $5.60, Iron Rock rose 20 cents in trading 139,156 shares and closed at $3.55. Knutsford Express had 2,110 units changing hands with a rise of 30 cents to close at $15, Lasco Distributors ended with 130,134 shares changing hands, but fell 16 cents close at $7.32, Lasco Financial ended with 41,389 shares changing hands at $3.35, Lasco Manufacturing closed at $5.01 with 250,219 shares trading.
JSE off to rousing start – Friday
Jamaica stocks started trading on Friday where they left off on Thursday with both the main market and the junior market indices rising. Caribbean Cream traded at a new high of $6.78 with 56,000 units as investors continue to respond to the company’s first quarter results.
The all Jamaica Composite Index jumped 1,506.48 points to 179,177.69, the Jamaica Stock 
Exchange Market Index gained 1,347.06 points to 161,258.48, the Jamaica Stock Exchange combined index climbed 1,499.13 point to close at 171,976.49 points andthe junior market index gained 19.20 points to 2,177.83.
Trading after 75 minutes of the market’s opening resulted in 23 securities changing hands, accounting for a volume of 1,330,966 shares with the average number of shares traded amounts to 63,379 units compared to an average of 45,559 units on Thursday. Trading has so far resulted in 10 stocks gaining and 6 declining as stocks trading over 100,000 units include Cable & Wireless that traded 167,000 at $1.12, Consolidated Bakeries traded 400,000 shares at $2.10, Honey Bun with 185,000 units traded at $5.60 and Lasco Manufacturing with 236,850 shares trading at $5.05. Scotia Group gained $1.10 while trading 18,490 shares at $31.90 while Pan Jamaican Investments lost $1 in trading 27,900 units at $24.
