The Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market index slipped just 1.72 points to close at 3,404.79 in trading on Thursday as volumes rose 66 percent and value up 95 percent over Thursday’s levels
At the close of market activities, 26 securities changed hands versus 27 companies trading on Thursday with the prices of 9 securities rising, 7 declining and 10 remaining unchanged.
Market activities, resulted in an exchange of 3,253,708 units valued at $20,983,345 up from 1,961,441 units valued at $10,776,646 changing hands on Thursday.
Trading ended with an average of 125,143 units for an average of $807,052 in contrast to 72,646 units for an average of $399,135 on Thursday. 
The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 93,190 units at $489,550 compared to 89,655 units at $454,422 previously, in contrast, September closed with an average of 954,574 units valued at $2,612,695 for each security traded.

General Accident fell 10 cents swapping 1,267,447 units at $6.85, GWest Corporation climbed 2 cents and exchanged 30,513 shares at $1.04, iCreate declined 2 cents in trading of 5,500 units at 71 cents,
Jamaican Teas closed with 10,865 units changing hands and gained 10 cents to end at $6.20, Knutsford Express climbed 25 cents in exchanging 6,000 shares at $10.50. Lasco Financial fell 20 cents in trading of 14,363 units at $4.80, Lasco Manufacturing lost 10 cents with 67,212 units changing hands at $5.10, Limners and Bards climbed 14 cents and exchanged 9,719 shares at $2.72, Main Event closed 5 cents higher at $5.75, with 19,900 stock units trading. Iron Rock Insurance closed trading of 78,000 units and gained 4 cents to end at $3.99, Stationery and Office Supplies exchanged 526,755 shares to close at $11 after falling 50 cents and tTech ended trading with 2,660 shares, after rising 50 cents to end at $6.

Lasco Financial closed 24 cents higher at $5, with 1,366 stock units trading, Lasco Manufacturing lost 15 cents to end at $5.20 in swapping 60,998 shares, Limners and Bards lost 12 cents trading 275,900 shares to close at $2.58 and Paramount Trading declined by 4 cents to settle at $2.20 after exchanging 7,132 shares.

Lasco Distributors closed trading of 8,830 units and gained 20 cents to end at $3.90, Lasco Financial shed 10 cents in trading of 319,907 units at $4.80, Lasco Manufacturing declined 10 cents trading 102,211 units at $5.40. Limners and Bards ended market activity exchanging 11,200 shares to close at $2.62 after falling 18 cents, Main Event fell 40 cents in trading of 600 units at $5.60, Paramount Trading ended with a loss of 1 cent at $2.24 with 10,000 stock units changing hands. Stationery and Office Supplies ended with a loss of $1 at $11 with 116,071 stock units changing hands and SSL Venture declined 34 cents in trading 46,412 shares to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $1.01.
The Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange advanced 36.11 points to close at 3,485.29 in trading on Monday, following the 26.63 points rise on Friday.
Iron Rock Insurance closed trading of 200 units and gained 5 cents to end at $4, Jamaican Teas climbed 7 cents and exchanged 49,220 shares at $6, Jetcon Corporation closed 4 cents higher at $2, with 207,144 stock units trading, Limners and Bards ended with 150,562 shares trading, after rising 25 cents to end at $2.80. Lasco Distributors fell 5 cents in swapping 179,816 units at $3.70. Lasco Financial ended trading with 600 shares, after rising 5 cents to end at $4.90, Lasco Manufacturing closed 10 cents higher at $5.50, with 108,235 stock units changing. Main Event ended trading with 3,726 shares, after rising 40 cents to end at $6, Paramount Trading exchanged 10,925 units and gained 5 cents to end at $2.25 and Stationery and Office Supplies ended trading of 25,000 shares, after rising 85 cents to end at $12.

Knutsford Express fell 19 cents in exchanging 3,785 units at $10.81, Lasco Distributors closed 10 cents higher at $3.80, with 976,000 stock units changing hands. Lasco Financial ended market activity exchanging 554,327 shares to close at $4.76 after falling 29 cents, Lasco Manufacturing climbed 9 cents and exchanged 32,560 shares at $5.29, Limners and Bards dipped 7 cents in trading 90,522 units at $2.75, Medical Disposables closed 5 cents higher at $7.05, trading 4,000 stock units. Main Event lost 49 cents in exchanging 24,779 shares to close at $5.51, Paramount Trading climbed 20 cents and exchanged 15,000 shares at $2.20. Trading on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange ended on Wednesday with the market Index dropping sharply by 89.34 points to close at 3,426.95 as Access Financial dived $5, General Accident dipped 60 cents and Stationery and Office Supplies dropped 79 cents. 
Jamaican Teas fell 30 cents trading of 25,248 units at $6, Jetcon Corporation fell 20 cents in trading of 71,233 units at $2, Knutsford Express dipped 10 cents in trading 10,310 units at $11, Lasco Distributors closed trading of 3,069,824 units and gained 15 cents to end at $3.70. Lasco Financial ended with 94,729 shares crossing the exchange, after rising 5 cents to end at $5.05, Lasco Manufacturing closed with a loss of 20 cents at $5.20, after swapping 31,500 shares. Limners and Bards closed 7 cents higher at $2.82, with 88,901 stock units trading, Paramount Trading lost 20 cents in trading of 6,721 units at $2 and Stationery and Office Supplies dipped 79 cents in trading of 62,770 units to end at $10.80.
The trend of a large number of stocks rising at the end of one month, followed by falling prices at the start of the next, was evident at the end of September and October on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
Honey Bun ended with a loss of $1 at $6 with 73,900 stock units changing hands, iCreate ended trading with 10,000 shares, after rising 2 cents to end at 72 cents, Indies Pharma ended with 79,613 shares crossing the exchange, after rising 2 cents to end at $3.32. Jetcon Corporation closed 20 cents higher at $2.20, with 83,296 stock units trading, Lasco Distributors dipped 30 cents in trading of 23,246 units at $3.55. Lasco Manufacturing closed with a loss of 10 cents at $5.40, in swapping of 20,753 shares, Limners and Bards lost 22 cents in exchanging of 201,729 units at $2.75 and Stationery and Office Supplies dropped by 81 cents to settle at $11.59. In the junior market preference segment, Paramount Trading close with a loss of 15 cents to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $2.05 after swapping of 500 shares.
Honey Bun closed 61 cents higher at $7, with 4,545 stock units trading, Indies Pharma fell 8 cents in trading 18,763 units at $3.30. Jamaican Teas climbed 18 cents and exchanged 13,547 shares at $6.30, Jetcon Corporation dipped 9 cents in trading 40,000 units at $2, Knutsford Express fell $1.40 cents in trading of 367 units to close at $11.10, Limners and Bards closed 17 cents higher at $2.97, with 294,838 stock units trading. Lasco Distributors climbed 53 cents and exchanged 5,158,000 shares at $3.85, Lasco Manufacturing traded 35,825 shares, after rising 10 cents to end at $5.50 and Main Event traded 8,086 declined by 5 cents to settle at $6.
