Mayberry Investments had 27,938 shares trading at $4.40 for a rise of 35 cents, National Commercial Bank rose 3 cents with 102,600 shares changing hands, to close at $41.03, Proven Investments ordinary share traded 714,100 units at 20 US cents, down from 22 US cents, Pulse Investments added 36 cents to close at $2.91 with 77,000 units changing hands. Radio Jamaica ended with 25,862 units changing hands to gain 10 cents and close at $3.95, Sagicor Group gained 5 cents with 548,431 shares changing hands at $23.20, Sagicor Real Estate Fund traded 11,087 shares at $11. Scotia Group had 63,275 shares changing hands to close 50 cents higher at $31 and Supreme Ventures closed at $4.70 with 33,725 units changing hands.

Jamaica Stock Exchange traded 3,000 shares to end with a gain of $1 at $22, JMMB Group had 52,994 units changing hands but rose 21 cents in closing at $10.60, Margaritaville Turks had 199,000 shares trading at 13.1 US cents after slipping 0.90 cent, National Commercial Bank had 61,270 shares changing hands at $41 at the close. Pulse added 15 cents to close at $2.55 with 344,533 units changing hands, Sagicor Group gained 15 cents with 189,757 shares changing hands at $23.15, Sagicor Real Estate Fund traded 44,310 shares at $11. Scotia Group had only 16,079 shares changing hands to close at $30.50. Seprod fell $2.80 with 11,625 units changing hands at $19.20 and Supreme Ventures closed at $4.70 with 274,835 units changing hands after shedding 29 cents.

Jamaican main market stocks lost much ground on Tuesday, as Cable & Wireless lost 7 percent and Carib Cement 13 percent in value. Declining and advancing stocks were even, at 15 each as 38 securities changed hands, in all market segments. The JSE Market Index suffered a fall of 191.17 points to 154,244.00 the all Jamaica Composite Index dropped 213.64 points to end at 171,332.67 and the JSE combined index dropped 224.85 points to close at 162,989.36. The main market recovered from losses in the indices in the morning session with the all Jamaican Composite Index dropping more than 1,000 points.

JMMB Group had 111,852 units changing hands and fell 58 cents to close at $10.42. Kingston Wharves had 2,205 shares trading with a rise of 25 cents at $11.44, Mayberry Investments traded 1,499,312 shares to close with a loss of 29 cents at $4.51, National Commercial Bank had 28,271 shares changing hands but the price fell by 99 cents to close at $40.01. The all Jamaica Composite Index lost 128.70 points to 174,697.27, the JSE Market Index fell 115.16 points to 157,254.68, the JSE combined index gained 81.15 points to 166,137.37 and the junior market index rose 21 points to 1,977.28.
Caribbean Cement fell $4 with 36,000 shares to be at $26, after the company reported full year results to December last year with earnings of $1.82 after an exceptional charge and one off income. Carreras traded just 100 but gained $1.60 to $65.70, Gleaner Company traded 123,047 but fell 35 cents to $2.10.
