At the close the Composite Index was up 0.62 points to 1,147.22, the All T&T Index added 1.10 points at 1,951.11 and the Cross Listed Index rose 0.02 to 45.04.
Gains| Grace Kennedy had 1,000 units changing hands at $3.51 for a 1 cent gain, Guardian Holdings with 14,545 shares changing hands for a value of $446,688, closed 6 cents higher at $13, Massy Holdings gained 1 cent, to close at $62.50 while trading 30,835 shares valued at $1,927,138. Prestige Holdings with 26,000 units valued at $257,660 changing hands ended at $9.91 with a cent rise, Scotiabank contributed 1,125 shares in trading, to close at $62.52 with a 1 cent rise. Sagicor Financial Corporation closed with 2,330 shares changing hands, 1 cent higher at $6 and Trinidad Cement had 98,056 shares changing hands, valued at $303,963 and ended at $3.10 with a 10 cents rise, for a 52 weeks; high.
Losses| Clico Investment Fund closed with just 7,781 shares changing hands, 1 cent lower at $22.50 and JMMB Group loss 1 cents to close at 42 cents while trading 2,170 shares.
Firm Trades| Agostini’s traded 5,651 shares at $18, Angostura Holdings with 3,984 shares changing hands, closed at $14, ANSA McAL contributed 259,750 shares valued at $17,468,188 in trading, to close at $67.25 with the loss of 1 cent, traded 1,000 units at $38.94. First Citizens Bank had 2,836 shares changing hands to end at $35, National Commercial Bank traded 60,192 shares at $1.63, National Flour with 12,46 shares trading at $2.06, One Caribbean Media traded 4,625 shares at $22, Scotia Investments traded 80,000 shares at $1.60 and West Indian Tobacco traded 3,863 shares valued at $484,536 to close unchanged at $125.43.
