Bulls let out their fury on bears in the Junior Market pushing the market index up 87.62 points at 10:15 am to reach 3,320.05, the highest level since October last year.
Amongst the stocks contributing to the big surge were Blue Power that rose to $11.95, Cargo Handlers $10.95, Elite Diagnostic at a record high of $5.99, Fontana traded as high as $8.99, Jamaican Teas $4.56, with third quarter results, more than tripling that of 2018 to $118 million versus $44 million and General Accident at $4.50.
The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index gained 10.675.81 points to a record of 565,028.91, the JSE Index advanced 9,701.20 points to a record high of 514,451.64 and the JSE Financial Index rose 2.53 points a record of 137.90. Wisynco traded at a new record high of $28, subsequently NCB Financial traded at an all-time high of $229.99.

Junior Market turns bullish
The Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market Index climbed 42.55 points to close at 3,232.43 on Wednesday and sits just 0.4 percent below the opening level for the year and just slightly lower than the close on January 23.
The Junior Market lagged the main market in performance this year but is severely undervalued and is now poised to rise sharply with technical indicators pointing to a big rally around the corner.
Blue Power jumped to a 52 weeks’ intraday high of $11.50 while Elite Diagnostic closed trading at a 52 weeks’ high at $5.50 but Main Event that traded at an intraday 52 weeks’ high of $8 dropped back by the close.
The market closed with 27 securities changing hands, compared to 31 on Tuesday, resulting in the prices of 16 rising, 6 declining and 5 remaining unchanged.
Trading picked up over Tuesday’s levels with an exchange of 2,728,440 units valued at $14,270,901, compared to 6,303,420 units valued at $17,549,511, on Tuesday.
Trading ended with an average of 101,053 units for an average of $528,552 in contrast to 203,336 units for an average of $566,113 on Tuesday. 2019 Junior Market losses almost cleared
The Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market Index rose 38.69 points to close at 3,189.88 on Tuesday and sits just 1.8 percent below the opening level for the year and just slightly lower than the close on January 23.
Blue Power jumped to a 52 weeks’ intraday high of $10 while Elite Diagnostic traded at a 52 weeks’ high of $5.20 but pulled back to $5 at the close.

Investors push Fontana from IC TOP 10
Fontana traded at a record $9.
Fontana hits a record high of $9 during trading on Friday but pulled back to close at $7.41 still higher than the $6.07 it closed at the end of the prior week and pushing the stock out of the Top 10.
Caribbean Flavours replaced Fontana in the Junior Market top 10. In the main market, Palace Amusement with opening of the Sunshine Palace scheduled for late July or early August, is expected to add to revenues and profit, replaced Jamaica Broilers.
Limners and Bards (The Lab) with a successful IPO this past week, remains on the Junior Market TOP 10. Radio Jamaica came in for increased buying in the past week that pushed the price to a 52 weeks’ high of $1.40 but pulled back on Friday, as selling pushed the price down, to close at $1.24.
In the past week, the main market continues to hit new record highs, closing the week at a near all-time high on its way to over 700,000 points for the All Jamaica Index. Momentum continues to move the market away from long-term resistance at 520,000 points. The Junior Market rose during the week and recovered losses suffered in the first half of the month. The market is still consolidating, waiting for profit results to help move it higher as it is currently highly undervalued.
The three most attractive Junior Market stocks are, Iron Rock with potential gains of 240 percent, followed by Caribbean Producers with projected gains of 238 percent and tTech with possible gains of 214 percent.
Sterling Investments heads the main market with 179 percent potential gains followed by Sygnus Credit Investments with 167 percent and Palace Amusement in third spot with the potential to gain 162 percent by March next year.
The main market, closed the week with the overall PE at 15.2 and the Junior Market at 10.20. The PE ratio for Junior Market Top 10 stocks averages 7.1 and the main market PE 8.6. These levels, point to a big upside for TOP 10 stocks over the next 12 months and Junior Market stocks in particular.

The Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange enjoyed a big bounce on Tuesday with the market Index jumping 63.13 points to close at 3,076.53.

It has not been a good July for the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange so far, as the market index continuing to slide, with a 26.77 points fall on Monday on top of the 26.62 points drop on Friday.
The market that started the month at 3,103.60 has now lost 90 points to close at 3,013.40 on Monday on a day when declining stocks outnumbered rising stocks 3 to 1.
Trading ended on Monday with 30 securities changing hands, similar to Friday’s level, resulting in an exchange of 2,734,886 units valued at $7,413,545 compared to 2,783,254 units valued at $9,535,345 on Friday. At the close of market activities, the prices of 5 securities advanced, 14 declined and 11 remained unchanged.
Trading ended with an average of 91,163 units at $247,118 for each security trading, in contrast to 92,775 units for an average of $317,845 on Friday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 90,896 shares valued at $308,570 for each security traded, compared to 90,868 shares valued at $314,884 traded previously. 
June ended with an average of 166,169 units at $674,841 for each security traded.
Fontana closed at an all-time high of $6.20, GWest Corporation closed at a 52 weeks’ low of 70 cents and Jetcon Corporation ended at a 52 weeks’ low of $1.60.

Blue Power traded 1,550 shares, after rising 40 cents to end at $5.35, Caribbean Producers lost 4 cents trading 5,260 shares to close at $4.76, Consolidated Bakeries ended market activity exchanging 58,600 shares to close at $1.80 after falling 10 cents. Derrimon Trading ended trading with 78,832 shares, after rising 13 cents to end at $2.30, Express Catering declined 65 cents in trading of 44,521 units at $6.10. Everything Fresh ended market activity in exchanging 84,200 shares to close at $1.36 after falling 4 cents, Elite Diagnostic fell 15 cents trading 4,210 units at $4.80. Fosrich Group dipped 10 cents in trading of 29,637 units at $4.10, 
Fontana closed trading of 171,573 units and gained 13 cents to end at $6.20. General Accident lost 10 cents trading 1,540 units at $4.20, Gwest Corporation declined 14 cents in trading of 558,259 units to end at an all-time closing low of 70 cents, Honey Bun lost 5 cents in exchanging 6,000 units at $5.95, Jamaican Teas dipped 5 cents in with 44,032 units changing hands at $4.40. Jetcon Corporation declined 35 cents to end at a 52 weeks’ low of $1.60, trading 85,000 shares, Key Insurance ended market activity exchanging 2,021 shares, to close at $2.90 after falling 10 cents. Lasco Financial ended with a loss of 1 cent at $4.49 with 18,200 stock units changing hands, Lasco Manufacturing climbed 14 cents after exchanging 134,182 shares at $4.20 and Main Event lost 38 cents in trading 12,734 shares to close at $6.32.
