The Composite Index lost 0.26 points to close at 1,162.09, the All T&T Index fell by just 0.19 points to close at 2,006.39 and the Cross Listed Index dipped by a mere 0.05 points to end at 41.60.
Gains| Stocks increasing in price at the close, are Ansa Merchant Bank with 1,508 units changing hands, to close a cent higher, at $39.10, a new 52 weeks high, Berger Paints traded 500 shares at $3.61 for a cent increase and a new 52 weeks high, First Citizens Bank contributed 373 shares as the price closed with a cent gain at $35.53, National Flour Mills with 134,468 shares changing hands for a value of $134,473 to close at $1.01, up by a cent and One Caribbean Media gained 2 cents to end the day at $23.30 while trading 2,588 shares.
Declines| The stocks declining at the end of trading are Guardian Holdings with 2,532 shares changing hands, and declined 5 cents to end at $14.30, National Commercial Bank contributed 4,000 shares at $1.05, down a cent, Scotia Investments with a volume of 16,913 shares traded for $25,379 with the price falling 5 cents to close at $1.50 and Trinidad Cement traded 1,800 units to close at $1.93 with a fall of 2 cents.
Firm Trades| Stocks closing with prices unchanged at the end of trading are Angostura Holdings with 800 shares to close at $12.75, Clico Investment Fund traded 10,215 shares valued at $221,164, remained at $21.65, while National Enterprises had 780 shares changing hands to close at $18, Massy Group added 2,958 shares valued at $205,315 and closed at $69.41, Sagicor Financial Corporation traded 1,324 units to close at $6.68 and West Indian Tobacco traded 132 shares to close at $118.
