Trading sinks further on TTSE – Thursday

Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange market activity on Thursday ended with trading in 13 securities against 15 on Wednesday, with 3 advancing, 3 declining and 7 remaining unchanged on a day when the volume a value of trading declined from Wednesday’s levels.
At close of the market, the Composite Index declined 0.86 points to 1,301.32, the All T&T Index lost 1.04 points to 1,692.91, while the Cross Listed Index lost 0.09 points to close at 122.97.
Trading ended with just 56,112 shares at a value of $1,242,837 compared to 147,101 shares at a value of $2,255,471 on Wednesday.

Stocks closing with gainsClico Investments closed with an increase of 5 cents at $20.20, with 10,995 stock units changing hands, National Enterprises ended trading with a rise of 13 cents and ended at $8, with 135 stock units trading and National Flour closed with a rise of 1 cent and completed trading 8,185 units at $1.64.
Stocks closing with Losses| Calypso Macro Index Fund lost 31 cents and closed trading of 300 shares at $15.50, First Citizens fell 1 cent and settled at $33, after exchanging 30 shares and JMMB Group shed 3 cents and ended at $1.77, after exchanging 300 shares.
Stocks closing firm| Ansa Merchant Bank settled at $38.26, after exchanging 261 shares, Grace Kennedy ended at $3.05, with 19,687 stock units changing hands, Guardian Holdings completed trading at $17, with an exchange of 4,947 units, Mora Ven Holdings traded 3,000 shares at $12.48, One Caribbean Media concluded market activity at $10.50, after exchanging 3,000 shares, Republic Financial Holdings closed at $107.06, after exchanging 731 shares, Trinidad & Tobago NGL settled at $29.21, after trading 275 shares and West Indian Tobacco completed trading 7,266 units at $95.07.
