Trading resulted in activities in 44 securities, down from 41 on Thursday and ending, with prices of 18 rising, 19 declining and seven closing unchanged.
Trading ended with an exchange of 7,242,538 shares worth $14,408,351, down from 12,914,016 stock units at $22,098,998 on Thursday.
Trading averaged 164,603 shares at $327,463, well below 314,976 stocks at $539,000 on Thursday. Trading for the month to date, averages 364,894 stock units at $542,090 compared to 390,738 stock units at $569,784 on the previous day, with an average of 280,479 shares at $401,436 in July.
Dolla Financial led trading with 2.15 million shares for 29.7 percent of total volume followed by Atlantic Hardware which ended with 1.24 million units for 17.1 percent of the day’s trade and One Great Studio with 466,863 stocks for 6.4 percent of the volume traded.
At the close of trading, the Junior Market Index slipped 1.28 points to close at 2,937.84. The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator shows seven stocks ending with bids higher than their last selling prices and five with lower offers.
The Junior Market ended trading with an average PE Ratio of 10.9. ICInsider.com compiles the PE ratios, which are derived by dividing the last traded price of a stock by the earnings per share for companies with their fiscal year ending around August 2026.
At the close of the week, Access Financial dropped by $1.47 and ended at $15.50 after trading of 8,032 units, AMG Packaging lost 10 cents to close at $1.70 with 2,748 stocks clearing the market, Blue Power rose by 41 cents to $3.90 after trading 8,231 shares. Caribbean Assurance Brokers climbed 6 cents to close at $1.21, with 2,897 stock units crossing the market, Caribbean Cream climbed by 44 cents and ended at $2.25 in an exchange of 31,986 shares, Caribbean Flavours rose by 11 cents to end at $1.21, with 3,351 units crossing the exchange. Dolla Financial rallied 14 cents in closing at $3.50, with 2,149,848 stocks changing hands, Dolphin Cove increased $1.44 to $11.39 as investors exchanged 13,458 stock units, Everything Fresh advanced 33 cents and ended at $2.09, after 446 shares passed through the marke. Fontana declined 7 cents to finish at $6.12 in an exchange of 52,321 units, Honey Bun fell 75 cents to close at $5.45 with investors trading 78,958 stocks, Image Plus slipped 9 cents to end at $1.10 with an exchange of 167,364 stock units. Iron Rock Insurance shed 10 cents to close at $2.20 after trading of 11 shares, 
JFP rallied 5 cents to close at 55 cents after an exchange of 125,578 shares, Knutsford Express gained 70 cents in closing at $8 with investors trading 11,881 stocks. Lasco Financial rose 5 cents to $1.60 following an exchange of 65,510 units, Mailpac Group skidded by 7 cents to close at $2.55, with 57,005 shares crossing the market, Medical Disposables dipped 32 cents to end at 95 cents in trading 16,242 stock units. MFS Capital Partners advanced 11 cents to 51 cents after an exchange of 456,536 units, One Great Studio lost 8 cents to end 37 cents with a transfer of 466,863 stocks, Regency Petroleum climbed 8 cents to end at $4.44 with investors dealing in 20,390 units and Spur Tree Spices declined 8 cents to finish at $1.12 in switching ownership of 41,857 stocks.
