The Jamaica Stock Exchange Main Market ended trading on Friday, with the market rising after an equal number of stocks advanced and declined after an exchange of 143 percent more shares, with 36 percent more value than on Thursday, while closing the week at the highest point for September.
At the close, the All Jamaican Composite Index climbed 1,015.97 points to 402,637.72, the Main Index gained 909.86 points to 367,526.77 and the JSE Financial Index added 0.84 points to settle at 97.14.
Trading ended with 43 securities changing hands, similar to Thursday, and closed with the prices of 16 stocks rising, 16 declining and 11 remaining unchanged. The average PE Ratio of the market ended at 15.4 based on IC Insider.com forecast of 2020-21 earnings.
The market closed with an exchange of 25,606,369 shares for $51,769,010 compared to 10,530,333 units at $38,041,905 on Thursday. Wigton Windfarm led the market with 86 percent of total volume in the trading of 22.05 million shares, followed by Transjamaican Highway with 6.2 percent and 1.58 million units and Sagicor Select Financial Fund with 512,447 units for 2 percent market share.
Trading ended with an average of 95,497 units at $1,203,930 for each security, in comparison to an average of 244,891 shares at $884,695 on Thursday. The average trade for the month to date ended at 233,735 units at $1,206,845 for each security, in contrast to 187,575 units at $1,207,217. IC bid-offer Indicator| At the end of trading, the Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator reading for the market shows eight stocks ending with bids higher than their last selling prices and two with lower offers.
At the close of the market, Berger Paints climbed $1.19 to $11.85, in trading just 50 units, Eppley gained 50 cents to close at $24.50, with 1,200 units crossing the market, Eppley Caribbean Property Fund rose 99 cents to $49.99 after exchanging 5,350 stock units. 
First Rock Capital fell $1.05 to settle at $12, with 12,574 shares changing hands, Jamaica Broilers Group shed 36 cents to end at $24.60, after 14,625 stock units crossed the market, Kingston Wharves rose $1 to $47, in trading 377 units. Mayberry Jamaican Equities lost 55 cents with an exchange of 10,384 stock units to end at $7.52, Portland JSX advanced $1.48, in ending at $8.50 with investors switching ownership of 400 stock units, Proven Investments finished at $36.35, with gains of 4 cents in trading 7,476 stock units. Salada Foods declined by $2.99 to close at $25 in transferring 10,000 stock units, Scotia Group gained 50 cents in closing at $50.50, with 124,036 shares passing through the market, Seprod rose $2 to $55.50 after the transfer of 24,995 stock units. Supreme Ventures picked up 49 cents to settle at $14, with investors switching ownership of 165,785 shares and Wisynco Group shed 65 cents to end at $16.35, in exchanging 40,884 shares.

Key Insurance rose 66 cents to $8.57 trading 17,006 stock units, Kingston Wharves dropped $2.89 in closing at $46, with 10,317 units crossing the market, Mayberry Investments slipped 57 cents to $5.13, after 19,300 stock units passed through the market. Proven Investments advanced $1.85 to $35.95, after an exchange of 592 units, Salada Foods gained 99 cents to close at $27.99, with 75 units crossing the market, Scotia Group rose $1 to end at $50, after trading 32,180 shares. Seprod climbed $1.10 to $53.50, in exchanging 9,312 units, Supreme Ventures lost 46 cents to settle at $13.51 trading 101,403 shares and Wisynco Group gained 50 cents to close at $17, with 87,673 shares changing hands.

Jamaica Broilers Group declined by 45 cents in closing at $25 and 33,295 shares crossing the exchange, Jamaica Stock Exchange carved out a gain of 62 cents to end at $18.62 trading 12,262 units, Mayberry Investments settled at $5.69, with a rise of 57 cents, with 2,000 units passing through the market. Mayberry Jamaican Equities shed 43 cents to end at $8.07 with investors swapping 122 stock units, NCB Financial fell 60 cents to settle at $135, after exchanging 48,381 shares, Palace Amusement dived $400 in closing at $1,100, in trading 20 shares. Proven Investments climbed $1.75 to settle at $35.90, with 1,191 units changing hands, Scotia Group lost $1 to end at $47 with 7,120 units crossing the exchange and Seprod climbed $1.40 to close at $52.40 with investors switching ownership of 63,478 shares.

Proven Investments lost $1.85 to end at $34.15, after trading 2,105 units, Seprod dropped $2 to settle at $51 with investors switching ownership of 215,510 shares, Sterling Investments gained 30 cents ending at $3.20, with 62,334 stock units crossing the exchange and Sygnus Credit Investments climbed $1.75 to close at $16.80 trading 38,323 shares.

Key Insurance rose $1.94 to settle at $9.15, in an exchange of 184,302 shares, Kingston harves advanced to $45, with gains of $1 trading 7,600 units, NCB Financial ended 50 cents higher at $138.01 with investors swapping 38,808 shares. PanJam Investment carved out an increase of $1 to settle at $70 in trading 450 units, Sagicor Group gained 77 cents to close at $44.77 after exchanging 63,545 units. Scotia Group ended with a loss of 71 cents to end at $46.02, in clearing the market with 1,184,453 shares, Seprod gained 50 cents to finish at $55, trading 4,895 units and Supreme Ventures lost 30 cents ending at $13.50, with 5,173 units changing hands.

Key Insurance gained 34 cents, to close at $7.55 with an exchange of 5,417 stock units, Kingston Properties fell by $1.03 to $6.17, with 2,407 units changing hands. Kingston Wharves dropped $8 after trading 28,483 stock units to close at $42, NCB Financial Group declined by $4 to $136, after exchanging 24,762 stocks, Palace Amusement fell $200 to end at $1,500, with a transfer of 13 units. PanJam Investment fell $4.50 to $66.50 while trading 314 shares, Proven Investments shed $1.99 to close at $36 with an exchange of 6,896 stock units, Sagicor Group finished at $44, after losing $2.42 and the transferring of 48,477 shares. Scotia Group declined by $3.49 to settle at $47 in trading 26,079 stock units and Seprod gained 50 cents to end at $54, with 1,477 units changing hands.
Trading month to date is well ahead of July with an average of 392,128 shares for $2,444,356.
JMMB Group carved out a loss 50 cents to close at $30, with 44,422 stocks crossing the market, Kingston Properties shed 40 cents in closing at $7.20 with an exchange of 169 stock units. Kingston Wharves rose 95 cents to close at $50 in exchanging 572,067 stocks, NCB Financial Group dropped $3.97 to end at $136.01 after trading 158,851 shares, Palace Amusement dropped by $50 in closing at $1700 crossing the market one stocks. PanJam Investment gained $6 to end at $71 in trading 1,520 stocks, Proven Investments advanced 40 cents to $36.50 with investors swapping 20,001 stock units, Sagicor Group shed 50 cents to close at $45 after exchanging 18,139 units. Scotia Group dropped by $2.50 in ending at $47, with an exchange of 112,320 shares and Victoria Mutual Investments gained 40 cents and closed $6.90, with investors switching ownership of 117,840 units.
Transjamaican Highway led trading with 11.06 million shares for 48.8 percent of total volume followed by Sagicor Real Estate Fund with 5.38 million units for 23.7 percent of the day’s trade, QWI Investments with 1.55 million units for 6.8 percent market share and Wigton Windfarm ended with 1.17 million shares changing hands for 5 percent of total shares changing hands.
Eppley Caribbean Property Fund gained 50 cents to end at $50 after 6,411 units passed through the market, Grace Kennedy carved out a loss $1.48 to settle at $55.01, with 99,348 stocks passing through the market, Jamaica Broilers Group gained $1.30 to end at $24.80 in exchanging 6,351 stock units. Jamaica Stock Exchange lost 80 cents to settle at $19 after 23,485 stocks crossed the exchange, MPC Caribbean Clean Energy shed $5 to close at $150 in an exchange of 66 shares, NCB Financial Group gained $1.48 in closing at $139.98, trading 728,385 stocks. Proven Investments dropped by $1.90 in closing at $36.10, with 700 stock units changing hands, Sagicor Group gained $1.45 to close at $45.50, after 266,558 stocks passed through the market, Scotia Group jumped $4.50 to close at $49.50 with an exchange of 36,229 stock units and Seprod advanced by $2.99 in closing at $54 and exchanging 7,026 shares.
Sagicor Select Financial Fund with 1.3 million units or 10.8 percent of overall trade and QWI Investments with 1.2 million stock units for 10 percent of stocks trading.

Mayberry Jamaican Equities lost 46 cents in closing at $8.29, with 153 units changing hands, MPC Caribbean Clean Energy gained $2.99 to end at $155, after an exchange of 1,587 units, PanJam Investment declined $3 to end at $65 and cleared the market with 11,980 stock units.
