Market activity on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange ended on Tuesday in 18 securities trading compared to 15 on Monday, with 6 advancing, 4 declining and 8 remaining unchanged.
At close of the market, the Composite Index gained 1.65 points to 1,336.01. The All T&T Index rose 2.96 points to 1,772.66, while the Cross Listed Index gained 0.54 points to close at 121.35.
Trading ended with 126,863 shares at a value of $1,684,534 compared to 211,344 shares for $3,342,097 on Monday.

Stocks ending with gains| At the close of the market, First Citizens added 19 cents and closed at $36.89, after exchanging 2,613 shares, Grace Kennedy gained 5 cents and completed trading at $3.35, with 5,294 stock units changing hands, Massy Holdings rose 95 cents and ended at $55, after exchanging 3,150 share. Sagicor Financial closed with a gain of 3 cents and ended at $8.63, after trading 6,379 shares, Scotiabank gained 50 cents and completed trading at $63, with 100 stock units changing hands and Trinidad Cement finished trading 25,801 shares with 2 cents to end at $2.57.
Stocks closing with losses| Ansa Merchant Bank declined 1 cent to $37, after exchanging 200 shares, JMMB Group ended trading with a loss of 5 cents to close at $1.65, after exchanging 21,200 shares. National Enterprises lost 20 cents and completed trading of 10,000 stock units at $7 and One Caribbean Media fell 10 cents and ended at $10.20, after exchanging 2,900 shares.
Stocks closing firm| Ansa Mcal settled at $55.94, trading 100 units, Clico Investments completed trading of 14,298 stock units at $22.39, CinemaONE traded 350 shares at $9.95, First Caribbean International Bank settled at $8.30, with 1,590 units trading. NCB Financial Group ended at $8.45, after exchanging 12,045 shares, Republic Financial Holdings concluded trading of 860 shares at $120.11, Trinidad & Tobago NGL settled at $29.50, with 15,426 units changing hands and Unilever Caribbean ended at $26.30, after exchanging 4,907 shares.
