At close, 14 securities changed hands, with the price of 6 rising, 1 declining and 7 remaining unchanged, against 12 trading on Monday.
The market ended trading of 624,349 shares valued $13,033,986, compared to 568,679 shares valued $22,800,556 changing hands on Monday.
IC bid-offer Indicator| At the end of trading, the Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator reading closed with 6 stocks ending with higher bids than the last selling prices and 2 with lower offers.
Stocks closing with gains| Ansa Mcal advanced $1.50 completed trading of 106,017 units at $57, Clico Investments gained 4 cents and ended at $19.84, with 6,868 stock units changing hands, First Citizens added 20 cents and settled at $32.80, while exchanging 3,185 shares, Prestige Holdings increased 3 cents and completed trading of 272,400 units at $7.53, Republic Financial Holdings rose 1 cent and ended at a 52 weeks’ high of $103.70, trading 414 shares and Trinidad Cement closed with a gain of 4 cents at $2.90, after exchanging 1,300 shares.
