TTSE in small post-election rally

At the close, the Composite Index added 1.69 points to 1,146.36, the All T&T Index rose 2.14 to 1,949.78 and the Cross Listed Index fell 0.17 points to 44.99.
Gains| > Angostura Holdings ended with 1 million shares valued at $14,500,000 changing hands at $14.50 after adding 50 cents and Unilever Caribbean ended with 765 shares trading 4 cents up, for a new 52 weeks’ high of $67.15.
Losses| Massey Holdings closed with 78 units trading at $62.49, down 1 cent, Republic Bank closed 2 cents down at for a new 52 weeks’ low of $112.97, with 481 shares changing hands.
Firm Trades| First Citizens Bank had 2,710 shares changing hands to end at $35, Guardian Holdings added 1,908 shares to close at $12.90, National Commercial Bank traded just 1,003 shares to close unchanged at $1.63. Sagicor Financial Corporation closed with 3,100 shares changing hands at $5.95, Scotiabank traded 2,165 shares and closed at $62.50 and Trinidad Cement closed at $2.75 with 5,655 shares changing hands.
