Trading on Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange on Tuesday remained moderate with just 82,986 units valued $1,124,484 changing hands, compared to 272,153 units valued $1,852,312 on Monday.
Market activity ended with 16 securities trading against 15 on Monday, with 6 advancing, 4 declining and 6 remaining unchanged. At the close the Composite Index gained 6.77 points on Tuesday to 1,228.57, the All T&T Index lost 0.10 points to 1,710.29 and the Cross Listed Index rose 1.89 points to close at 100.38.

Gains| First Caribbean International Bank rose 15 cents and completed trading at $8.25, with 7,000 units, Grace Kennedy closed with a gain of 10 cents and ended at $2.90, with 24,800 stock units changing hands, JMMB Group gained 9 cents and concluded trading at $1.84, after exchanging just 48 shares, NCB Financial Group rose 5 cents and settled at $5.65, after exchanging 10,200 shares, Republic Financial Holdings gained just 1 cent and ended at a 52 weeks’ high of $102.82, after exchanging 80 shares and Sagicor Financial ended trading after rising 19 cents and ended at $7.69, with 100 stock units changing hands.
Losses| Clico Investments fell 2 cents and ended at $19.97, with 415 stock units changing hands, Massy Holdings closed with a loss of 5 cents to end at a 52 weeks’ low of $46.90, after exchanging 2,208 shares, National Enterprises shed 1 cent and ended at $9.50, exchanging 500 stock units and Scotiabank lost 3 cents and completed trading at $65.02, trading 6,688 units.
Firm Trades| Agostini’s closed trading at $21.11, after exchanging 588 shares, Angostura Holdings ended at $15.75, with 10 stock units changing hands, Ansa Merchant settled at $40, after exchanging 956 shares, First Citizens settled at $35, after exchanging 2,000 shares, Trinidad & Tobago NGL settled at $29.74, exchanging 6,528 shares and Trinidad Cement concluded trading at $2.95, after exchanging 20,865 shares.
