Back in IC TOP 10
The vast majority of listed companies on the Jamaica Stock Exchange will be releasing quarterly results by the end of the week and that could result in significant price movements for some. The major moves should apply mostly in the Junior Market that has several undervalued stocks.
The main market TOP 10 has two new additions this week with Pulse Investments surging back into the list with robust first-quarter results, suggesting that profit for the year could reach 50 cents per share. Scotia Group also returned to the top flight while Eppley and Proven Investments exited the listing. There was no change to the Junior Market TOP 10 list.
The top three Junior Market stocks continue to be led by Caribbean Producers with projected gains of 254 percent, followed by Iron Rock Insurance with a potential rise of 232 percent and Main Event with 221 percent.
Radio Jamaica remains the lead stock with projected gains of 170 percent, followed by Carreras in the number two spot with likely increases of 106 percent and Berger Paints with projected growth of 95 percent is next.
The main market closed the week with the overall PE of 17.6, up from 17.2 and the Junior Market at 12.1 from 11.8, based on current year’s earnings. The PE ratio for Junior Market Top 10 stocks averages 7.5, with the main market PE at 10.6.
The TOP 10 stocks now trade at a discount of 38 percent to the average for Junior Market stocks and main market stocks trade at a discount of 40 percent to the overall market.
IC TOP 10 stocks are likely to deliver the best returns to March next year. Projected earnings, along with the PE ratio for each company’s current fiscal year are used in determining 
potential gains with the likely gains ranked in descending order with highest-ranked being the most attractive. The increased values will change as stock prices fluctuate and will result in movements of the selection in and out of the lists for most weeks. Earnings per share are revised on an ongoing basis as new information is received that can result in changes in and out of the list.

Honey Bun lost 30 cents in trading 40,000 units to land at $6.30, iCreate declined 5 cents in trading of 101,598 units at 65 cents, ISP Finance gained $2 to end at $27 with an exchange of 10,200 stock units, Jamaican Teas ended with a loss of 1 cent at $6.24 with 4,510 stock units changing hands. Jetcon Corporation declined by 19 cents trading of 44,000 units at $1.80, Lasco Manufacturing climbed 15 cents as it exchanged 266 shares at $5.35, Limners and Bards added 2 cents, trading 24,700 shares at $2.74 and Stationery and Office Supplies lost 20 cents in trading 10,380 stock units to close at $12.30.
The Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market bounced 33.01 points to 3,378.55 on Wednesday with 12 securities gaining, 8 falling and 10 remaining unchanged as the market claws back portion of the near 69 points drop on Tuesday.

Key Insurance traded 1,218 shares after rising 40 cents to end at $3.50, Lasco Distributors closed with a loss of 29 cents at $3.30, swapping of 570,450 shares, Lasco Financial declined by 10 cents to settle at $5.20, with 112,030 units trading, Lasco Manufacturing ended trading 90,191 shares, after rising 15 cents to end at $5.40. Limners and Bards closed 26 cents higher at $2.98, with 42,500 stock units trading, Medical Disposables fell 50 cents trading 1,340 units at $7. Stationery and Office Supplies closed with 5,430 units crossing the exchange and gained 9 cents to end at $12.20, and tTech exchanged 20,271 units and gained 30 cents to end at $6.30.
The Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market plunged 68.65 points to close at 3,345.54 when trading ended on Tuesday with 9 securities gaining, 12 falling and 6 remaining unchanged.
Jamaican Teas traded 27,723 units and gained 25 cents to end at $6.25. Jetcon Corporation ended market activity exchanging 21,000 shares to close at $1.80 after falling 19 cents, Knutsford Express climbed 1 cent and exchanged 15,028 shares at $10.41. Lasco Distributors ended trading with 205,849 stock units, after rising 29 cents to end at $3.59, Lasco Financial closed 20 cents higher at $5.30, with 20,850 stock units trading. Lasco Manufacturing fell 25 cents in trading 28,700 units in closing at $5.25, Medical Disposables lost 50 cents with 500 shares changing hands to close at $7.50, Stationery and Office Supplies exchanged 61,988 shares to close at $12.11 after falling 6 cents and SSL Venture lost 29 cents trading 12,508 shares to close at 1.30 cents.
Honey Bun lost 10 cents in trading 4,030 units at $6.50, Jamaican Teas slipped 5 cents in trading 10,030 units at $6, Knutsford Express dipped 45 cents in trading of 3,468 units at $10.40. Lasco Financial declined by 10 cents trading 151,300 shares to settle at $5.10, Lasco Manufacturing closed 25 cents higher at $5.50, with 74,346 stock units trading, Limners and Bards shed 28 cents in trading of 116,064 units at $2.72 and SSL Venture ended with a loss of 1 cent at 1.59 with 66,344 stock units changing hands.
2019, then the company should go on to record a strong increase in profit in the 2020 fiscal year that starts this month.
Price movements were almost evenly spread on the Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market at the close on Friday as trading ended with 5,230,729 units valued at $27,124,560 changing hands. 
GWest Corporation ended trading with 21,082 shares and gained 7 cents to end at $1.12, iCreate closed 3 cents higher at 71 cents, with 4,306 stock units trading, Lasco Distributors closed with 111,180 units changing hands and gained 5 cents to end at $3.30, Lasco Financial climbed 25 cents and exchanged 51,666 shares at $5.20. Lasco Manufacturing closed trading of 3,500,905 units and gained 22 cents to end at $5.25, Limners and Bards climbed 14 cents in exchanging 665,000 shares to close at $3, Main Event climbed 2 cents after exchanging 700 shares at $5.22 and Stationery and Office Supplies declined 28 cents trading 5,800 units at $12.17.
The Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market closed October with heavy trading on Thursday with Derrimon Trading 31 million shares out of a total of 31,699,661 units amounting to $87,399,668 compared to 32,683,130 units valued at $145,214,995 on Wednesday.
The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 186,927 units valued at $788,734 and previously 142,388 units valued at $670,885 for each security trading. In contrast, September closed with an average of 954,574 units valued at $2,612,695 for each security traded.
Fosrich closed with an increase of 1 cent at $4.71, with 8,000 stock units trading, GWest Corporation lost 6 cents in trading 7,500 units at $1.05, Honey Bun rose 20 cents in exchanging 1,202 shares at $6.60, Indies Pharma declined by 2 cents to settle at $3.10 after exchanging 38,826 shares. Knutsford Express traded 591 units and gained 25 cents to end at $10.85, Lasco Distributors fell 8 cents with 1,061 units crossing the exchange to close at $3.25, Lasco Financial ended 5 cents higher at $4.95, with 23,366 stock units changing hands. Limners and Bards closed 14 cents higher at $2.86, with 130,400 stock units crossing the exchange, Main Event lost 10 cents in trading 1,000 shares to close at $5.20 and Stationery and Office Supplies ended trading with 2,200 shares, after rising 40 cents to end at $12.45.
The Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market ended with heavy trading on Wednesday with six securities exchanging more than one million shares each leading to trading in 32,683,130 units valued at $145,214,995 compared to 1,069,455 units valued at $6,472,676 on Tuesday. 
Honey Bun declined by 20 cents to settle at $6.40, iCreate ended with a loss of 1 cent at 68 cents with 135,645 stock units changing hands, Indies Pharma ended trading with 2,186,278 shares, after rising 2 cents to end at $3.12. Jamaican Teas exchanged 1,539,506 shares, after rising 5 cents to end at $6.05, Lasco Distributors closed 8 cents higher at $3.33, with 11,400,136 stock units trading, Lasco Financial shed 20 cents in trading of 9,030 units at $4.90. Lasco Manufacturing ended market activity exchanging 11,775,157 shares to close at $5.03 after falling 2 cents, Limners and Bards climbed 16 cents and exchanged 153,520 shares at $2.72, SSL Venture closed trading of 16,919 units and gained 10 cents to end at $1.60 and Stationery and Office Supplies closed 5 cents higher at $12.05, with 41,224 stock units changing hands.
The Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market Index declined by 30.21 points to close at 3,344.40 on Tuesday as 31 securities changed hands, with 16 rising, 9 declining and 6 remaining unchanged.
Key Insurance climbed 10 cents and exchanged 2,100 shares at $3.10, Lasco Distributors dipped 15 cents in exchanging 11,083 units at $3.25. Lasco Financial closed trading of 22,570 units and gained 20 cents to end at $5.10, Limners and Bards closed trading of 54,518 units and gained 11 cents to end at $2.56, Main Event rose 19 cents in trading 1,000 units at $5.30, Paramount Trading had 4,312 units changing hands and gained 30 cents to end at $2.10. Stationery and Office Supplies closed trading of 14,258 units and gained 13 cents to end at $12 and SSL Venture climbed 5 cents and exchanged 4,831 shares at $1.50.
