Market activity led to 38 securities trading similar to trading on Friday and ended with 19 rising, nine declining and 10 ending unchanged. At the close, the Junior Market Index popped 5.44 points to 3,417.28.

Caribbean Assurance Brokers led trading with 1.25 million shares for 22.9 percent of total volume followed by Future Energy Source with 600,408 units for 11 percent of trading and Consolidated Bakeries with 550,740 units for 10.1 percent market share.
