The market closed with 31 securities crossing the exchange versus 32 on Friday and ended with the prices of 16 securities advancing, 8 falling and 7 remaining unchanged.
Market activities, resulted in an exchange of 1,540,695 units valued $7,317,969 compared to 1,888,462 units valued at $8,580,846 changing hands on Friday.
Trading ended with an average of 49,700 units for an average of $236,063 in contrast to 59,014 units for an average of $268,151 on Friday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 86,618 units at $407,075 compared to 96,155 units at $451,253 previously, in contrast, September closed with an average of 954,574 units valued at $2,612,695 for each security traded.

Access Financial Services’ traded at a 52 weeks’ low of $34.85 on Monday.

Access Financial Services dropped $5.14 to help knock 50.49 points off the Market Index at the end of trading on Monday following an announcement of a proposal to sell 68.6 million shares owned by Proven Investments at $32 each.
