At the close of market activities, 24 securities changing hands, up from 26 securities changed hands on Thursday, with prices of 15 securities rising, 4 declining and 5 remaining unchanged as 2,557,873 units valued at $13,773,282 traded, compared to 2,182,720 units valued at $9,969,190 on Thursday.
Trading ended with an average of 106,578 units for an average of $573,887 in contrast to 83,951 units for an average of $383,430 on Thursday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 988,164 units valued at $2,580,720 and previously 1,028,085 units valued at $2,671,596 for each security traded. August ended with an average of 232,398 units valued at $1,072,851 for each traded security.

Express Catering closed 10 cents higher at $6.35, with 27,825 stock units trading, Fontana closed 36 cents higher at $8.47, with the trading of 54,728 units, General Accident shed 3 cents in trading of 1,022,961 units at $6.95. GWest Corporation closed with a loss of 5 cents at $1.10, in swapping 45,000 shares, Honey Bun closed 19 cents higher at $6.39, with 36,576 stock units changing hands, Indies Pharma climbed 8 cents and exchanged 12,100 shares at $3.38, Jamaican Teas declined by 28 cents to settle at $6.12 in moving 18,092 shares. 
Jetcon Corporation closed trading of 7,942 units and gained 29 cents to end at $2.09, Knutsford Express added $1.60 to end at $12.50 with 102,656 stock units trading. Lasco Distributors rose 7 cents and exchanged 571,096 shares at $3.32, Lasco Manufacturing ended trading with 151,959 shares, after rising 20 cents to end at $5.40, Limners and Bards closed 30 cents higher at $2.80, with 226,883 stock units trading, Main Event ended exchanging 4,854 shares, after rising 33 cents to end at $6.05. Medical Disposables dipped 40 cents in trading of 3,943 units at $7, Paramount Trading closed 20 cents higher at $2.20, with the trading of 45,700 stock units and Stationery and Office Supplies gained $1.40 to end at $12.40 with 11,000 stock units changing hands.
