At the close of the market, the Composite Index rose 4.93 points to 1,395.38. The All T&T Index gained 0.91 points to 1,751.68, while the Cross Listed Index added 1.24 points to close at 140.81.
IC bid-offer Indicator|The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with one stock closing with the bid higher than the last selling price and one with a lower offer.
Gains| First Citizens Bank added 1 cent and exchanged 758 units at $40.11, Massy Holdings gained 30 cents and completed trading 7,116 stock units at $54.75, Republic Financial rose 33 cents and settled at $121.33, after swapping of 1,812 shares and Scotiabank closed with a gain of 49 cents and completed trading of 10,596 units at $58.50.
Losses| Ansa Mcal ended trading 18 cents lower and settled at $55.02, with 2,048 stock units trading, Grace Kennedy lost 1 cent trading 1,000 shares to close at $3.29, Guardian Holdings share fell 1 cent and completed trading of 61,742 units at $18.01 and JMMB Group shed 1 cent to end at $2.24 with 500 shares crossing the exchange.
Firm Trades| Calypso Macro Index Fund traded just 40 shares at $15.50, Clico Investment Fund ended at $24.15, with 14,515 stock units trading, NCB Financial settled at $10.50, after exchanging 31,000 shares. Sagicor Financial ended at $10.45, in exchanging 20,344 shares, Trinidad Cement ended at $2.25, trading 400 stock units and Trinidad & Tobago NGL traded 29,509 units to close at $24.51.
