Trading remained fairly steady on Monday, with activities on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange, with the volume and value of stocks exchanged marginally different from activity on Friday resulting from activities in 23 securities similar to Friday and ending with prices of eight stocks rising, seven declining and eight closing firm.
The market closed with 1,053,069 shares trading for $8,243,726, after sliding from 1,092,759 stock units at $9,193,762 on Friday.
An average of 45,786 shares were traded at $358,423 compared with 47,511 units at $399,729 on Friday. Trading month to date averages 16,273 shares valued at $135,175 after increasing from 13,101 units at $111,181 on the previous day and an average of 11,573 shares at $105,485 in July .
The Composite Index skidded 0.62 points to 1,014.66, the All T&T Index dipped 1.59 points to 1,436.14, the SME Index remained at 71.22 and the Cross-Listed Index advanced 0.06 points to close at 79.01.
Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator shows five stocks ending with bids higher than their last selling prices and none with a lower offer.
At the close of trading, Agostini remained at $50 with 1,080 stocks passing through the market, Angostura Holdings gained 55 cents to end at $10.55 with 69 units changing hands, Ansa McAl dropped $1.50 to close at $45.50 with an exchange of 2,558 shares. 
AS Bryden slipped 1 cent to $1.49 with a transfer of 79 stock units, CIBC Caribbean Bank ended at $7.55 with trading of 951,133 shares, Endeavour Holdings fell by 25 cents and ended at $14.60 with 45 stocks clearing the market.. First Citizens Group rose $1 to $39 with investors dealing in 311 units, GraceKennedy remained at $3.92 in switching ownership of 1,200 stock units, Guardian Holdings ended at $16.30 after a transfer of 249 units. Guardian Media slipped 1 cent in closing at 80 cents with 100 stocks crossing the market, JMMB Group advanced 3 cents to close at 85 cents after trading of 15,000 shares, L.J. Williams B share remained at 80 cents in an exchange of 2 stock units. Massy Holdings lost 9 cents in closing at $3.40 with investors trading 36,073 shares, Medcorp skidded $1.50 to $36.50 after an exchange of 4 stock units, National Enterprises popped 15 cents to finish at $4.70 in trading 6,309 units. National Flour Mills popped 1 cent higher to $1.56 with 8,800 stocks crossing the exchange, Point Lisas increased 10 cents to end at $7 with a transfer of 586 shares, 
Prestige Holdings climbed 45 cents to close at $11 as investors exchanged 5,077 units. Republic Financial dipped 30 cents to $110.20 with 2,001 stocks crossing the market, Scotiabank ended at $45.50 in an exchange of 5,171 stocks, Trinidad & Tobago NGL ended at $10.49 with investors swapping 12,607 shares. Unilever Caribbean rose 50 cents and ended at $15.50 after an exchange of 1,424 stocks and West Indian Tobacco ended at $4 with a transfer of 3,191 units.
