The Composite Index rose 0.06 points to close at 1,164.92, the All T&T Index advanced by 0.24 points to close at 2,009.63 and the Cross Listed Index fell a mere 0.02 points to end at 41.92.
Guardian Holdings with 38,186 shares changing hands for a value of $549,878 closed at $14.40, followed. Trinidad Cement contributed 10,000 shares with a value of $19,500 to close at $1.95 while National Flour Mills added 4,000 shares to close at $1.
Gains| Stocks increasing in price at the close are First Citizens Bank with 17,828 shares traded for $631,416 gained 2 cents to close at $35.42 and Unilever Caribbean price gained 25 cents to end the day at a new 52 weeks high of $63 with 1,500 units traded.
Declines| The stocks declining at the end of trading are Sagicor Financial Corporation suffered a loss, falling 2 cents to close at $6.68 as 1,821 shares changed hands
Firm Trades| Stocks closing with prices unchanged at the end of trading, are Agostini’s with 3,300 shares to end at $17.45, Ansa Mcal with 193 shares to close at $66.30, Clico Investment Fund traded 26,035 shares valued at $564,531, to end at $21.68, Flavorite Foods 2,200 shares as the price closed $5.75, National Enterprises 949 units to close at $18.24, Massy Group 540 shares at $69.49, Prestige Holdings 3,662 units in closing at $9.40, Republic Bank 240 shares to close at $122 and West Indian Tobacco with 2,200 shares as the price closed at $118.
