Trading activity on the Trinidad and Tobago stock market continued with relatively low volumes when it closed on Thursday with 14 securities changing hands resulting in 132,758 shares valued at $3,006,849 traded. At the close, 2 stocks rose, 3 declined and 8 remained unchanged, leading to marginal changes in all the market indices. Two stocks closed at 52 weeks’ lows and one at a 52 weeks’ high.
The Composite Index gained 0.67 points to close at 1,151.80, the All T&T Index lost 1.07 points to close at 1,813.46 and the Cross Listed Index rose 0.33 points to at 65.24.

Gains| JMMB Group ended with 64,571 shares changing hands to close 4 cents higher at 64 cents and Tobago Trinidad and NGL rose by just 1 cent with 1,000 shares changing hands at $23.76.
Losses| Prestige Holdings traded 5,365 shares to close 10 cents lower at $10.80, Readymix dropped 65 cents to close at a new 52 weeks’ low of $11.60 with 160 shares changing hands and Unilever Caribbean dived $1.32 with 5,000 shares trading to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $63.
TTSE sum 18-08-16 Firm Trades| Ansa McAl traded only 29 units to end at $62, First Citizens traded 4,328 units at $35, Clico Investment Fund ended at $22.65 with 13,717 shares trading, Grace Kennedy contributed 1,729 shares, to close at $2.20, Massy Holdings ended with 10,000 shares valued at $549,800 changing hands to end at $54.98. Republic Financial Holdings closed at $109.98 with 10,100 shares at a value of $1,110,521 changing hands, Trinidad Cement traded 13,610 shares to close unchanged at $3.05 and West Indian Tobacco had 3,149 shares changing hands at $126.31.
