IC bid-offer Indicator| At the end of trading, in the main and junior markets, the Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator shows 10 stocks with bids higher than their last selling prices and just 2 stocks with offers that were lower.
Main Market| The JSE Market Index gained 438.19 points to 76,801.62, the JSE All Jamaican Composite index rose 489.91 points to close at 84,586.08 and the JSE combined index gained 385.03 points to close at 78,758.96.
Gains| Stocks gaining with last traded prices, at the end of trading in the main market are, Caribbean Cement ending with 316,475 shares changing hands, 10 cents higher at $2.50. Grace Kennedy ended trading with 5,305 units, the price rose 49 cents $61.50, Jamaica Money Market Brokers closed with 51,993 shares trading and gained 1 cent to $7.11, Mayberry Investments ended trading with 474,900 units changing hands to close 3 cents up, to $1.90. National Commercial Bank finished trading with 21,341 shares in gaining of 35 cents to $19, Sagicor Group had 138,592 shares changing hands with the price rising 5 cents to $10.03 and Scotia Group ended with 53,354 units with the price rising 25 cents to $20.50.
Firm| The stocks in the main market to close without a change in the last traded prices are, Cable & Wireless closing with 37,878 units trading at 48 cents, followed by Carreras finishing with 47,535 shares changing hands at $37. Desnoes & Geddes had 20,039 shares changing hands to close at $4.90, Jamaica Broilers ended with 1,000 shares trading at $4.10, Radio Jamaica in trading 795 units ended at $1.30, Sagicor Real Estate Fund closed with 3,400 units at $7.02.
Declines| Pan Jamaican Investment ended with 16,710 shares trading lower by 15 cents to $56 and was the sole loser in the main market.
