The market closed with 15 securities changing hands, leading to the prices of six stocks rising, two declining and seven left unchanged.
Trading ended with the T&T Composite Index adding 0.40 points to end at 1,258.37. The All T&T Index advanced 3.29 points to 1,678.58, while the Cross Listed Index lost 0.35 points to 113.35.
IC bid-offer Indicator│ The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of four stocks higher than their last selling prices and four with lower offers.
Gainers│ Calypso Macro Index Fund closed 13 cents higher to $15.88, in swapping 630 units, JMMB Group gained 1 cent trading 20 units to finish at $1.96, MPC Caribbean Clean Energy closed at 52 weeks’ high of $1.10, after with 500 units changed hands. National Flour rose 5 cents to end at $1.30, after exchanging 140,613 shares, Prestige Holdings jumped 56 cents to $8.06, with a transfer of 6,898 stock units and Trinidad & Tobago NGL rose 1 cent to $16.88, in exchanging 25,030 shares.
Losers│ Guardian Holdings lost 40 cents in closing at $18, with 8,018 stock units changing hands and Trinidad Cement fell 28 cents to a 52 weeks’ low of $1.62.
Firm Trades│ Agostini’s exchanged 99 units at $24, Ansa Merchant Bank closed at $37 with 200 units changing hands, Clico investments traded 47 units at $24. First Citizens Bank remained at $40.50 with 3,041 stock units, NCB Financial was unchanged at $7.50, after swapping 150,579 shares, Scotiabank ended at $54.99 and trading 100 units and West Indian Tobacco held firm at $31, with 6,068 stock units crossing the market.
