At close, 14 securities changed hands, with the price of 5 rising, 4 declining and 5 remaining unchanged, against 14 trading on Tuesday.
The market ended trading of 680,826 shares at a value of $23,759,560, compared to 1,588,903 shares valued at $9376766, changing hands on Tuesday.

Stocks closing with gains| Angostura Holdings gained 1 cent and ended at $15.76, with 4,098 stock units changing hands, First Citizens closed with an increase of 5 cents and settled at $32.70, after exchanging 575 shares, Guardian Holdings rose 14 cents to $16.74, and completed trading with 222,021 units, Prestige Holdings finished 2 cents higher and completed trading of 1,500 units at $7.56 and West Indian Tobacco added 22 cents and completed trading, with 107,274 units at $88.72.
Stocks closing with losses| Ansa Mcal concluded trading with a loss of 1 cent and at $56.99 in trading 100,416 units, Clico Investments traded with a loss of 1 cent and ended at $19.50, with 21,689 stock units changing hands, Scotiabank fell 4 cents and completed trading at $64.90, with 2,679 units and Trinidad Cement closed with a loss of 5 cents at $2.70, after exchanging 2,000 shares.
