The market closed with 665,055 shares changing hands at a value of $2,406,154 compared to Thursday’s trades of 213,496 valued at $3,295,884.
The Composite Index declined 0.14 points to 1,207.32, the All T&T Index fell 0.07 points to 1,790.06 and the Cross Listed Index lost 0.03 points to 83.68.
IC bid-offer Indicator| The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with 4 stocks with bids higher than last selling prices and 6 with lower offers.
Gains| Sagicor Financial gained 3 cents trading 15,082 shares to close at $8.04 and Scotiabank closed at $58.03, with gains of 2 cents exchanging 12,623 shares valued at $732,348.
Losses| Grace Kennedy lost 2 cents, closing at $2.73 with 400 units trading, One Caribbean Media closed at a 52 weeks’ low of $14.95, losing 5 cents exchanging 1,000 shares, Point Lisas lost 1 cent to close at $3.87, with 12,585 shares changing owners and West Indian Tobacco closed at a 52 weeks’ low of $125.88 trading 779 units.
Firm Trades| Agostini’s traded 1,417 shares at $20, Angostura Holdings exchanged 6,579 shares at $15.01, Berger Paints closed at $4.05, with 44,700 shares changing hands, First Citizens remained at $31.65, with 1,500 units trading. First Caribbean International held firm at $7.60, with an exchange of 2,462 units, JMMB Group traded 508,115 shares at $1.25, valued at $635,144, Prestige Holdings closed at $10.70 exchanging 3,374 shares after it traded at an intraday 52 weeks’ low of $10.69. Republic Financial Holdings closed at trading at $101.90, with 2,000 shares changing hands, Scotia Investments ended trading at 2.07 with 37,086 shares switching owners and Trinidad Cement remained at $4.14 trading 15,353 shares.
