At the close of trading on Thursday, the Junior Market index recovered just 31.86 points of the 55.78 points lost on Wednesday and the 66.99 points fall on Monday as the market closed at 3,373.16 on Thursday.
Market activity resulted in 25 securities changing hands with gains in just 13, while the prices of 4 declined and prices of 8 remained unchanged.
Junior Market activity, left the market’s average PE at 14.4. Trading ended with an exchange of 4,526,825 units in exchange for $11,980,216, compared to 8,280,200 units for $16,484,044 on Wednesday, from 30 securities trading on Tuesday.
Trading ended with an average of 181,073 units for an average of $479,209 in contrast to 276,007 units for an average of $549,468 on Wednesday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 255,401 shares at $585,144 compared to an average of 263,515 shares at $596,709 for each security traded. In contrast, November closed with an average of 120,579 shares at $506,880 for each security traded.

FosRich rose 3 cents to settle at $4.28 in trading 12,878 stock units, General Accident fell 10 cents while exchanging 9,600 shares at $7.40, Indies Pharma gained 23 cents trading of 72,656 units at $3.24, Iron rock Insurance closed at $3.80 after falling 20 cents with 13,000 shares trading. Jamaican Teas recovered the 7 cents lost on Wednesday with 6,306 units changing hands at $6.06, Jetcon Corporation exchanged 30,000 shares to close at $1.80 after falling 13 cents, Knutsford Express jumped $1.20 with just 100 shares crossing the exchange at $11.20, Limners and Bards rose 4 cents in trading 27,920 units at $2.85. MailPac rose 16 cents to end at $1.94 with 3,706,223 shares changing hands, Main Event gained 38 cents to settle at $6.45 while exchanging 74,342 units, Paramount Trading rose 45 cents with an exchange of 20,000 shares to close at $2 and tTech recovered 61 cents to close at $6.01 after an exchange of 55,296 shares.

Big drop for Junior Market

The Junior Market index dropped a sharp 55.78 points to close at 3,341.30 on Wednesday after 66.99 points were slashed on Monday, with declining stocks exceeding rising ones for the third consecutive day.
Market activity resulted in 30 securities changing hands with gains in just 5, while the prices if 17 declined and prices of 8 remained unchanged. CAC 2000 Preference share, closing at a 52 weeks’ low.
Junior Market activity, left the markets average PE at 14.1. Trading ended with an exchange of 8,280,200 units for $16,484,044 compared to 11,556,651 shares for $25,163,399 from 33 securities trading on Tuesday.
Trading ended with an average of 276,007 units for an average of $549,468 for each stock traded, in contrast to 350,202 units for $762,527 on Tuesday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 263,515 shares at $596,709 compared to an average of 261,632 shares at $603,830 for each security traded. In contrast, November closed with an average of 120,579 shares at $506,880 for each traded security.

Knutsford Express dived $1.50 with 43,436 shares crossing the exchange at $10, Lasco Financial exchanged 57,950 units, but fell 10 cents to end at $4.50, Lasco Manufacturing gained 10 cents trading of 45,000 units at $5.10, Limners and Bards slipped 2 cents in trading of 126, 814 units at $2.81. MailPac pulled back 17 cents to end at $1.78 with 5,881,440 shares changing hands, Main Event declined 8 cents to settle at $6.07 with an exchange of 31,212 units and Paramount Trading lost 45 cents with a transfer of 62,639 shares to close at $1.55.

The Junior Market index inched 1.16 points higher to close at 3,397.08 on Tuesday after dropping sharply by 66.99 points on Monday, with declining stocks exceeding rising ones.
Market activity, resulted in 33 securities changing hands with gains in 9 securities, declines in 16 while the prices of 8 remained unchanged, but CAC 2000 Preference share, closing at a 52 weeks’ low.
Junior Market activity, left the markets average PE at 14.5. Trading ended with an exchange of 11,556,651 shares for $25,163,399 compared to 13,720,939 units for$30,393,491 from 28 securities trading on Monday.
Trading ended with an average of 350,202 units for $762,527 for each stock traded, in contrast to 490,034 units for $1,085,482 on Monday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 261,632 shares at $603,830 compared to an average of 244,025 shares at $572,282 for each security traded. In contrast, November closed with an average of 120,579 shares at $506,880 for each security traded.

Cargo Handlers fell 50 cents in trading of 9,357 units at $9.50, Consolidated Bakeries declined by 22 cents to settle at $1.63 after trading 341,522. In the preference segment, CAC 2000 ended with a loss of 1 cent at a 52 weeks’ low of 90 cents with 50,000 stock units changing hands. Elite Diagnostic traded 5,187 shares to close at $5.59 after falling 16 cents, Everything Fresh inched 1 cent higher in trading 10,000 shares at $1.10, Fosrich lost 7 cents in exchanging 7,532 shares to close at $4.25. Fontana rose 60 cents to $7.80, with 78,705 stock units crossing the exchange, General Accident closed trading of 3,309 units and gained 35 cents to end at $7.50, GWest Corporation lost 6 cents to settle at 99 cents while exchanging 20,000 units, Honey Bun fell 15 cents in an exchange of 12,554 shares to close at $7.90. iCreate traded 29,300 units and gained 2 cents to end at 62 cents, Indies Pharma declined 3 cents in trading of 18,976 units at $3.02, Jetcon Corporation ended market activity exchanging 59,702 shares to close at $1.80 after falling 13 cents. Knutsford Express climbed 50 cents and traded 8,800 shares at $11.50, Lasco Distributors declined 26 cents in trading of 52,105 units at $3.30, Lasco Financial exchanged 1,000 units and put on 20 cents to end at $4.60, Limners and Bards dipped 2 cents in trading of 31,662 units at $2.83. MailPac pulled back 3 cents to end at $1.95 with 10,264,726 shares changing hands, Medical Disposables declined by 40 cents to settle at $7.10 with an exchange of 156,000 units, SSL Venture exchanged 25,000 shares to close at $1.20 after falling 20 cents and tTech ended trading of a mere 77 shares, after rising 5 cents to $5.40.

The Junior Market suffered a significant fall on Monday with the market index dropping 66.99 points to close at 3,395.92 points resulting from gains in 11 securities declines in 10 while the prices of 6 remained unchanged.
Junior Market activity, left the market’s average PE at 14.6. Trading ended with 28 securities changing hands, resulting in an exchange of 13,720,939 shares for $30,393,491 compared to 18,043,694 units for $43,397,194 from 28 securities trading on Friday.
Trading ended with an average of 490,034 units for $1,085,482 for each stock traded, in contrast to 644,418 units for $1,549,900 on Friday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 244,025 shares at $572,282 compared to an average of 194,110 shares at $468,155 for each security traded. In contrast, November closed with an average of 120,579 shares at $506,880 for each security traded.

Sharp jump for Junior Market

Junior Market makes big breakthrough resistance and seems to be heading higher.

At the close of the Junior Market on Thursday, the market index surged 100.47 points to close at 3,477.34, resulting from gains in 12 securities and eight declines while the prices of 9 remained unchanged, leaving the market’s average PE at 14.3.
Junior Market activity, ended with 29 securities changing hands, resulting in an exchange of 5,740,254 units for $7,603,716 compared to 1,154,175 units for $4,201,370 from 30 securities trading on Wednesday.
Trading ended with an average of 197,940 units for an average of $262,197 in contrast to 38,473 units for an average of $140,046 on Wednesday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 79,486 shares at $192,801 compared to an average of 37,077 shares at $167,956 for each security traded. In contrast, November closed with an average of 120,579 shares at $506,880 for each security trading.

Recently listed, MailPac traded 3,596,138 shares with the price jumped 85 cents to close at a new high of $2.17. The stock has more than doubled the IPO price of $1; it went to the market in November. Medical Disposables traded 2,536 shares after rising 51 cents to close at $8, SSL Venture Capital, to be renamed Boost Venture traded 70,850 shares but fell 35 cents close at a 52 weeks’ low of $1.15 and Stationery and Office Supplies rose 50 cents in trading 96 units at $11.50.

Junior Market activities ended on Friday with 29 securities changing hands, from 32 on Thursday, resulting in an exchange of 2,703,365 shares costing $18,646,706, compared to 9,668,717 units for $14,175,803 on Thursday.
At the close, the market index rose 18.14 points to 3,374.07, resulting from gains in 15 securities and declines in 7 while the prices of 7 remained unchanged and moving the market’s average PE to 14.8.
Trading ended with an average of 93,219 units for $642,990 for each stock traded, in contrast to 302,147 units, for an average of $442,994 on Thursday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 120,579 shares at $506,880 and previously 121,954 shares at $524,208, for each security traded. In contrast, October closed with an average of 186,927 units valued at $788,734 for each security traded.

At the close of the market, Access Financial lost 32 cents trading 43,201 units to finish at $36.68, CAC 2000 climbed $3 to settle at $13 with 100 shares changing hands, Caribbean Cream closed 33 cents higher at $4.40, with 1,000 stock units trading. Caribbean Flavours jumped $4.90 to end at $17.90 with 29,194 units crossing the market, Derrimon Trading gained just 1 cent to end at $2.65 with 64,246 stock units changing hands, Dolphin Cove closed with a loss of 10 cents at $11.10, in swapping of 9,300 shares. Elite Diagnostic climbed 2 cents and exchanged 4,500 shares at $5.32, Everything Fresh shed 15 cents in trading of 4,600 units at $1.10, Express Catering climbed 18 cents and exchanged 28,419 shares at $6.38. Fosrich closed 20 cents higher at $4.90, with 35,045 stock units trading, Fontana closed trading of 1,809,050 units and gained 60 cents to end at $7.80, General Accident lost 6 cents to end at $7.69, while trading 7,362 shares, GWest Corporation ended with 50,406 shares trading, after rising 3 cents to end at $1. Honey Bun closed 50 cents higher at $7, with 19,297 stock units crossing the exchange, Knutsford Express traded 57,500 units and gained 82 cents to end at $11. KLE Group fell 30 cents in trading of 25,000 units at a 52 weeks’ low of $1.40, Lasco Distributors closed trading of 161,966 units and gained 20 cents to end at $3.50. Lasco Financial closed trading of 49,351 units and gained 11 cents to end at $4.50, Lasco Manufacturing exchanged 18,705 shares, after rising 3 cents to end at $5.05, Limners and Bards climbed 18 cents and traded 29,455 shares at $3, Paramount Trading shed 4 cents in a transfer of 21,750 units at $1.96 and Stationery and Office Supplies fell 45 cents in trading of 4,921 units at $11.05.

Investors pushed Junior Market activities higher on Thursday with 32 securities changing hands up from 30 on Wednesday, resulting in an exchange of 9,668,717 units for $14,175,803, compared to 977,621 units at $4,392,917 on Wednesday.
At the close, the market index jumped 38.52 points to close at 3,355.93, resulting from 10 securities rising and 7 declining while the prices of 15 remained unchanged and the market’s average PE standing at 14.6.
Trading ended with an average of 302,147 units for an average of $442,994 in contrast to 32,587 units for an average of $146,431 on Wednesday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 121,954 shares at $524,208 and previously 111,374 shares at $528,977, for each security traded. In contrast, October closed with an average of 186,927 units valued at $788,734 for each security traded.

Dolphin Cove gained $1.90 to end at $11.20 in trading 3,196 shares, Derrimon Trading ended with a loss of 1 cent at $2.64 with 7,405 stock units changing hands, Express Catering fell 20 cents trading 650 units at $6.20, Everything Fresh ended with 8,910,186 shares crossing the exchange, after rising 21 cents to $1.25. Express Catering fell 20 cents trading 650 units at $6.20, Fosrich lost 10 cents in trading 27,056 shares to close at $4.70, General Accident gained 55 cents to end at $7.75, in exchanging 10,000 shares, GWest Corporation closed with 100,000 units crossing the exchange and gained 7 cents to end at 97 cents. Indies Pharma ended market activity exchanging 137,922 shares to close at $3.10 after falling 26 cents, Jamaican Teas gained 10 cents with 24,400 shares crossing the market at $6.20, Lasco Distributors dipped 20 cents in an exchange of 14,190 units at $3.30, Lasco Financial closed 9 cents higher at $4.39, with 4,075 stock units changing hands. Lasco Manufacturing lost 8 cents trading 4,555 shares to close at $5.02, Stationery and Office Supplies rose 31 cents in an exchange of 40,958 shares at $11.50 and tTech traded 3,626 shares, after rising 50 cents to end at $6.01.

Junior Market suffers fall

Investors traded the same number of Junior Market securities of 30 for each day this week up to Wednesday with modest volume changing hands.
The market closed with 977,621 units valued at $4,392,917 crossing the exchange, compared to 779,323 units valued at $4,286,981 on Tuesday.
At the close, the market index declined by 25.23 points to close at 3,317.41, resulting from 10 securities rising and 12 falling while the prices of 8 remained unchanged and the market’s average PE standing at 14.4.
Trading ended with an average of 32,587 units for an average of $146,431 in contrast to 25,977 units for an average of $142,899 on Tuesday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 111,374 shares at $528,977 and previously 115,963 shares at $551,261, for each security traded. In contrast, October closed with an average of 186,927 units valued at $788,734 for each security changing hands.

KLE Group fell 5 cents in trading of 540 units at $1.70, Knutsford Express lost 32 cents in trading 7,900 shares, to close at $10.18, Lasco Distributors closed 20 cents higher at $3.50, with 713 stock units changing hands, Lasco Financial fell 20 cents in trading of 26,760 units to close at $4.30. Lasco Manufacturing closed 10 cents higher at $5.10, with a transfer of 187,153 stock units, Limners and Bards climbed 12 cents and exchanged 56,121 shares at $2.82, Main Event fell 50 cents in trading of 9,500 units at $6 and Medical Disposables lost 84 cents with 4,000 units changing hands at $7.96.
