Junior Market activities ended on Friday with 29 securities changing hands, from 32 on Thursday, resulting in an exchange of 2,703,365 shares costing $18,646,706, compared to 9,668,717 units for $14,175,803 on Thursday.
At the close, the market index rose 18.14 points to 3,374.07, resulting from gains in 15 securities and declines in 7 while the prices of 7 remained unchanged and moving the market’s average PE to 14.8.
Trading ended with an average of 93,219 units for $642,990 for each stock traded, in contrast to 302,147 units, for an average of $442,994 on Thursday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 120,579 shares at $506,880 and previously 121,954 shares at $524,208, for each security traded. In contrast, October closed with an average of 186,927 units valued at $788,734 for each security traded.

Caribbean Flavours jumped $4.90 to end at $17.90 with 29,194 units crossing the market, Derrimon Trading gained just 1 cent to end at $2.65 with 64,246 stock units changing hands, Dolphin Cove closed with a loss of 10 cents at $11.10, in swapping of 9,300 shares. Elite Diagnostic climbed 2 cents and exchanged 4,500 shares at $5.32, Everything Fresh shed 15 cents in trading of 4,600 units at $1.10, Express Catering climbed 18 cents and exchanged 28,419 shares at $6.38. Fosrich closed 20 cents higher at $4.90, with 35,045 stock units trading, Fontana closed trading of 1,809,050 units and gained 60 cents to end at $7.80, General Accident lost 6 cents to end at $7.69, while trading 7,362 shares, GWest Corporation ended with 50,406 shares trading, after rising 3 cents to end at $1. Honey Bun closed 50 cents higher at $7, with 19,297 stock units crossing the exchange, Knutsford Express traded 57,500 units and gained 82 cents to end at $11. KLE Group fell 30 cents in trading of 25,000 units at a 52 weeks’ low of $1.40, Lasco Distributors closed trading of 161,966 units and gained 20 cents to end at $3.50. Lasco Financial closed trading of 49,351 units and gained 11 cents to end at $4.50, Lasco Manufacturing exchanged 18,705 shares, after rising 3 cents to end at $5.05, Limners and Bards climbed 18 cents and traded 29,455 shares at $3, Paramount Trading shed 4 cents in a transfer of 21,750 units at $1.96 and Stationery and Office Supplies fell 45 cents in trading of 4,921 units at $11.05.
