The market closed with 213,496 shares having changed hands at a value of $3,295,884 compared to Tuesday’s trades of 342,323 valued at $4,812,950 resulting in 6 stocks advancing, 1 declining and 5 holding firm and leading to a rise in all the market indices.
The Composite Index advanced 0.74 points to 1,207.46, the All T&T Index gained 0.09 points to 1,790.13 and the Cross Listed Index rose 0.19 to 83.71.

Gains| Clico Investment gained 1 cent to close at $22.50 exchanging 24,444 shares valued at $549,990, First Citizens closed at $31.65, gaining 1 cent with 37,034 shares valued at $1,180,048 changing hands, Grace Kennedy closed at $2.75, with gains of 4 cents and 10,910 shares traded. Guardian Holdings added 3 cents, rising to $16.12 with 10,460 shares changing hands, NCB Financial Group closed at a 52 weeks’ high of $4.07, with a 1 cent gain and 65,988 shares traded and Sagicor Financial gained 1 cent, ending at $8.01 with an exchange of 1,334 shares.
Losses| Scotiabank lost 2 cents to close at $58.01 trading 716 units.
Firm Trades| Ansa McAL traded 3,074 shares at $66, JMMB Group closed at $1.25, with 23,800 units changing hands,Republic Financial Holdings closed at $101.90, with trades of 6,527 shares valued at $665,089. Trinidad Cement remained at $4.14 trading 27,293 shares and Trinidad & Tobago NGL closed at $21.90 with 1,646 units changing hands.
