4 companies dominate TTSE on Friday

Republic Financial Holdings had the largest value of trading on Friday on the TTSE.

The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange closed on Friday with Republic Financial Holdings as the lead trade with 46 percent of the total value traded followed by Ansa McAL with 21 percent , Trinidad & Tobago NGL with 12 percent (TTNGL) and Massy Holdings with 11 percent.
The market closed with 13 securities trading, the same as on Thursday, the number of shares traded totaled 312,159 units valued at $13,109,347 compared to Thursday’s trades of 179,168 shares valued at $3,736,695, with 1 stock advancing, 3 declining and 9 holding firm.
The Composite Index declined 0.59 points to 1,212.88, the All T&T Index fell 0.17 points to 1,792.24 and the Cross Listed Index lost 0.14 points to close at 84.90.
IC bid-offer Indicator| The Investor’s Choice bid-offer ended with 2 stocks with bids higher than last selling prices and 5 with lower offers.
Gas company, TTNGL, are currently offer to the public an additional 40,248,000 Class B shares at TT$21 per unit, which opened on June 5 and is expected to close on June 28.
Gains| Guardian Holdings gained 5 cents to close at $16.20 trading 13,632 shares.
Losses| Grace Kennedy closed at $2.80, with a loss of 5 cents exchanging 35,092 shares, National Enterprises lost 1 cent to close at $10.50, with 13,663 shares changing hands and Trinidad Cement traded 4 cents lower, closing at $4.15 exchanging 28,500 shares.
Firm Trades| Ansa McAL held firm at $66 trading 40,748 shares valued at $2,689,368, First Citizens traded 314 shares at $31.85, Massy Holdings closed at $50.75, with an exchange of 28,781 shares valued at $1,460,636. National Flour Mills closed at $2.20, with 1,840 shares changing hands, One Caribbean Media traded a mere 40 shares at $16, Republic Financial Holdings closed at $101.90, with trades of 59,396 shares valued at $6,052,229. Sagicor Financial exchanged 5,279 units at $8.75, Scotiabank remained at $58 trading 12,830 shares valued at $744,140 and Trinidad & Tobago NGL closed at $21.01, with an exchange of 72,404 shares valued at $1,521,208.
Shares in TTNGL, are currently offer to the public with additional 40,248,000 Class B shares being sold by the parent company at TT$21 per unit. The offer opened on June 5 and is expected to close on June 28.
