The Trinidad Stock Exchange index suffered more slippage at the close of trading on Wednesday and continuing the slow slide since the start of the month as trading levels dipped well below Tuesday’s levels.
The market closed with ten securities trading with the prices of three stocks advancing, four declining and three were unchanged. The volume of stocks passing through the market amounted to 61,713 shares valued at $1,287,355 compared to 439,536 shares for $5,553,342 on Tuesday from 17 securities.
The T&T Composite Index shed 1.45 points to 1,315.63, The All T&T Index declined by 2.89 points to 1,777.17, while the Cross Listed Index remained at 115.40.
IC bid-offer Indicator│ The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of six stocks higher than its last selling price and three with lower offers.
Gainers│ NCB Financial added 1 cent to close at $7.88, with a transfer of 30,000 shares, 
Trinidad and Tobago NGL advanced by 31 cents to $16.81, in exchanging 5,893 stock units and West Indian Tobacco gained 15 cents to finish at $34.25, with 3,193 units changing hands.
Losers│ Agostini’s shed 25 cents trading 83 units and closed at $24.75, Massy Holdings slipped 10 cents to $59.90, with an exchange of 5,528 stock units. Point Lisas ended 10 cents lower at a 52 weeks’ low of $3.15, after transferring 5,000 stock units and Unilever Caribbean closed at $16.88, with a loss of 11 cents in exchanging 503 units.
Firm Trades│ First Citizens Bank traded 10,098 stock units at $48.50, Guardian Holdings held firm at $19.50 trading 415 units. L.J Williams B share remained at $1.40, with 1,000 units changing hands.
