Mayberry Jamaica Equities sold off their remaining shares in Lumber Depot to the Paul Scott controlled Musson Investments, our sources indicate, helping to swell trading in the stock to 141.23 million units, accounting for 98.2 percent of total market volume on Friday. 
The trade pushed the volume of stocks traded by 4,622 percent and the value 1,842 percent higher than on Thursday on the Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market.
Market activity led to 34 securities trading compared to 36 on Thursday and ended with 15 rising, 10 declining and nine, closing unchanged. The Junior Market Index shed 9.66 points to settle at 3,337.47.

Dolphin Cove spiked $2.25 to end at a 52 weeks’ closing high of $12.50 with an exchange of 790,372 stocks, Elite Diagnostic declined 21 cents to end at $3.24 with the swapping of 14,072 units, Future Energy Source fell 13 cents to $2.77, with 612,436 units changing hands. 
Honey Bun climbed $1.30 to a 52 weeks’ closing high of $10.50, with 76,381 stock units crossing the exchange, Iron Rock Insurance rallied 23 cents to $3.30 in switching ownership of 11,000 shares, Jamaican Teas lost 20 cents to end at $3.80 after 126,677 stocks changed hands. Knutsford Express popped 45 cents to close at $7.50 after exchanging 1,259 shares, Lasco Distributors shed 10 cents in ending at $3.15 trading 58,580 stock units, SSL Venture rallied 10 cents to 90 cents after trading 5,813 units and tTech rose 20 cents to close at $4.20 in an exchange of 1,226 stocks.

Big plunge for Junior Market
Trading closed on Wednesday, with the market index of the Jamaica Stock Exchange Junior Market plunging more than 60 points for the day as the volume of stocks trading dropped 48 percent and the value falling 64 percent below Tuesday’s close.
Just 34 securities traded versus 35 on Tuesday and ended with 13 rising, 15 declining and six closing unchanged.
Junior Market Index declined 67.14 points to settle at 3,342.36.

Future Energy Source led trading with 1.16 million shares accounting for 27.1 percent of total volume, followed by Tropical Battery, with 474,624 units for 11.1 percent of the day’s trade and AMG Packaging with 464,536 units for 10.9 percent market share.

Fontana fell 63 cents to end at $7.03 with 119,833 stocks passing through the exchange, Future Energy Source slipped 9 cents to $2.95, with 1,157,637 stock units clearing the market, General Accident gained 15 cents ending at $7.15 with 33,284 units changing hands. Honey Bun popped 47 cents to close at $9.47 in an exchange of 17,016 stock units, Jamaican Teas increased 6 cents to $4.04 after 115,183 shares crossed the exchange, Knutsford Express declined 95 cents in ending at $7.05 in switching ownership of 2,000 stocks. 
Lasco Manufacturing dropped 7 cents to close at $4.75, trading 14,267 stock units, Limners and Bards lost 21 cents to end at $3.34 while exchanging 253,968 units, Lumber Depot rose 10 cents to $2.99, with 262,591 stocks changing hands. Main Event shed 65 cents to close at $3.70 with 3,560 shares crossing through the market and Paramount Trading declined 15 cents to end at $1.25 with an exchange of 11,839 stocks.
