On resumption of trading the stock had the bid up to $1.02. The stock is on offer at $1.20 to sell 20,000 units. Subsequent to 10.45am, Cable & Wireless traded at $1.02.

The junior market keeps on hitting new records almost daily since beginning of last week, with sharp climb in prices of Caribbean Cream, Lasco Distributors and Lasco Manufacturing.
In trading on Monday the index for the juniors jumped through the 1,200 points mark resistance with ease by adding 67.28 points for a gain of 5.79 percent to settle at a record 1,229.99 points. Caribbean Producers, Lasco Distributors and Lasco Manufacturing, with the latter two hitting new record highs, contributed most to the market’s gain. A total of 4 stocks advanced, 5 declined as 9 securities traded while three new all-time highs were recorded at the close. The market ended with 2,885,431 units, valued at $6,883,707 changing hands. The junior market index is up 79 percent compared with 41 percent for the main market since the start of 2015.
