Subdued trading on TTSE – Tuesday

Trading on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange was moderate on Wednesday with 11 securities changing hands compared to 12 on Tuesday accounting for 137,807 shares traded at a value of $553,807.
On Tuesday the market traded 145,278 shares valued at $1,233,773.
On Wednesday trading ended with 1 stock advancing, 2 declining and 8 holding firm as
the Composite Index fell 0.05 points to 1,237.51, the All T&T Index declined by 0.50 points to 1,782.68 and the Cross Listed Index inched 0.06 points higher to close at 92.99.
IC bid-offer Indicator| The Investor’s Choice bid-offer ended with 4 stocks with bids higher than last selling prices and 8 with lower offers.
Gains| Grace Kennedy was the sole stock gaining to close 4 cents higher at $2.90 trading 15,045 shares.
Losses| The last traded prices of securities declining and the volume changing hands are Angostura Holdings with a loss 1 cent to settle at $15.24 with just 400 units and Trinidad Cement closing at $4.14, after losing 6 cents while exchanging 849 units.
Firm Trades| The last traded prices of securities and the volume traded unchanged at the close of trading are First Citizens that closed at $32 with 671 units, Guardian Holdings remaining at $15 with 4,875 shares, National Enterprises trading 409 units at $10.37,National Flour Mills ending at $2 in exchanging 100,000 shares. NCB Financial held firm at $5 trading 500 units, Readymix closed at $11 with 100 units trading, Sagicor Financial exchanged 13,158 shares at $8.01 andBourse Brazil Latin Fund US Dollar mutual shares traded 1,800 units at US$8.08.
