Trading on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange resulted in slippage in the volume and value of stocks crossing the exchange on Thursday compared to Wednesday, leading to a decline in the market index.
The market closed with ten securities trading, down from 13 securities on Wednesday. The prices of three stocks advanced, one declined and six remained unchanged. Investors exchanged 59,276 shares for $1,839,024, compared to 175,142 units for $2,582,297 on Wednesday.
The T&T Composite Index fell by 2.44 points to 1,308.61. The All T&T Index shed 5.35 points to 1,764.43, while the Cross Listed Index gained 0.07 points to close at 115.25.
IC bid-offer Indicator│ The Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator ended with the bids of three stocks higher than its last selling price and two with lower offers.
Gainers│ First Citizens picked up 1 cent to close at $45.71, in exchanging 10,432 stock units, Trinidad Cement ended at $2.21, after gaining of 11 cents in the transfer of 15,123 stock units and 
West Indian Tobacco finished 80 cents higher at $34.80, after swapping 3,705 units.
Losers│ Clico Investments lost 8 cents trading 8,842 units and closed at $25.
Firm Traders│ Angostura Holdings traded 50 units at $14.90, JMMB Group ended with the swapping 1,500 units at $2, NCB Financial was unchanged at $7.85, after 501 units crossing the exchange. One Caribbean Media closed at $5.45, with an exchange of 1,100 units, Scotiabank closed with an exchange of 17,426 stock units at $54.99 and Trinidad and Tobago NGL remained at $18, with 597 units changing hands.
