Trinidad stocks eased back on Monday

Market activity on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange ended on Monday with trading in 11 securities against 12 on Friday, with 1 stock advancing, 4 declining and 6 remaining unchanged.
At close the Composite Index slipped 0.53 points on Monday to 1,274.55, the All T&T Index declined 0.04 points to 1,707.04, while Cross Listed Index eased just 0.14 points to end at 113.63.
Market activity ended with 137,895 shares with a value of $2,265,920 traded, compared to 93,884 shares with a value of $1,571,326 on Friday.
IC bid-offer Indicator|At the end of trading, the Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator reading shows 6 stocks ended with bids higher than their last selling prices and 8 with lower offers.
Gains| National Flour gained 5 cents, in finishing at $1.95, trading 627 shares.
Losses| Grace Kennedy closed trading with a loss of 1 cent at $3.50, with 84,615 units changing hands, Sagicor Financial fell 7 cents and finished at $7.82, with 130 units trading, Trinidad & Tobago NGL share price fell 1 cent and completed trading at $26.60, with 3,503 units and West Indian Tobacco shed 1 cent and ended at $88.49, with just 55 stock units changing hands.
Firm Traded| Clico Investments finished at $20.50, with 825 units, First Citizens ended at $32.01, trading 14,084 shares, JMMB Group ended at $1.85, with 2,349 stock units changing hands., Massy Holdings concluded trading at $47.50, with 28,811 stock units trading, National Enterprises ended with $9.67, with 2,851 units and Unilever Caribbean concluded trading at $28.99, trading 45 shares changing hands.
